The Ale House Columbia

Fun local pub in Columbia, sadly it's a bit hidden from the road but still has plenty of foot traffic! Servers were knowledgeable of the and everything on it. Burgers are solid and the wings were decent. Bar seating when the restaurant is full still has fast service and their attentiveness is exception during busy times.

Visited The Ale House Columbia with friends last night and had a great experience! We had a larger table size, but only waited 10 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was pretty busy. We were in the outside area which had nice lights and speakers playing music. Our server was very friendly and provided great service! I started off the night getting the pickle fries. They were delicious, crunchy and the aioli was the perfect dipping sauce for them. For my meal, I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was AMAZING!! It was so good I couldn’t stop talking about it with people at my own table. The veggies, the chicken in gochujang sauce and the pretzel bun just made an incredible flavor combination. We will definitely be back again!

I’ve been here several times and have always had a good experience. I usually get a few appetizers to share, but of my favorites is the salmon BLT, with onions rings instead of fries. The fish and chips is also fantastic..I like that we have the option to sit inside at the bar and still have the fresh air from outside. The one recommendation would be to have the wine in a temperature controlled environment- instead of on the counter in the heat and hot sun.

This place was amazing and is still pretty good, but the best item on the menu, the buffalo chicken flatbread, was changed and is now ruined. They added bleu cheese and absolutely doused with buffalo sauce, I don't know who in the ownership thought this was a good idea, but I can assure it's not reflective of the quality of the rest of the restaurant What I mean to say is, please fix this flatbread. I mean just look at it
