Jimmy's Family Steak House

Jimmy's Steakhouse is not consistent with the size of delivery tenderloins. The first covered the bottom of the takeout box. The one that I received today was the same as the last. They didn't even cover the bun. Very disappointed and don't plan to order from here again or don't plan on encouraging anyone I know to order here either. I worked at a restaurant for years. Our meat was the same weight, shape,and size. If a customer received a steak that had more gristle or fat,they would complain and would receive a different one. We were always making sure that our distributors were as consistent in what we received from them. I am not happy with the size or shape differences in what I received from your restaurant. You may need to talk to your distributors about getting pieces of meat the same size and shape. When I go out to eat, I want to know if I could have some later or if I would go home hungry.

Jimmy's is a long standing, local, family owned and operated restaurant in South Columbia. They are very attentive with service and have a great variety food on their menu. Gus and Jimmy are the only one's I have ever seen cooking and the food they put out is outstanding! Currently they are open for dine in and taking extra precautions during COVID-19. If you are looking for a friendly, family atmosphere with great food and service, I recommend going to Jimmy's.

Jimmy's is a great place. It's genuinely family owned, regulars are recognized and feel welcome. The Greek Duke selections on the menu are good, but the American options lack punch. All of the standards can be had, plus some locally styled selections named for Campus sororities and frats. Portion sizes are out of control. You get a lot of food for the price, which keeps the tables full. There's a salad bar, beer selections, and an open kitchen to see the food being prepared. Go to Jimmy's, make a new friend, and have some nice Greek food.
