Aundrea and Jasmin worked a miracle for us when we arrived. Our group of 55 (mostly teenagers) were in Columbia for the MO State music festival. Cracker Barrel has always been hit and miss for me but after this visit they are completely redeemed! They were able to seat ALL 55 of us in roughly 15-20 minutes with a limited staff and most of the tables taken! The food all came within minutes of our orders being taken! I cannot give this facility enough praise! My waiter was the newly hired Alex and he was phenomenal! Thanks again CRACKER BARREL!

Always a pretty good place to eat, also my favorite pancakes at any restaurant. Great deals with a cool store inside that sells anything from Woodwick candles to vintage candy and a lot more.

Dining room is open for business - YEA !!!!
We stopped for Breakfast/Lunch about 13:30 AM on a Saturday. Places was ALREADY busy and waiting list had us at 25-35 minutes wait.
We got called in only 20 minutes later. We were promptly seated with menus. Within 2 minutes, waitress came by to give us a basket with napkins and silverware. She apologized that she would be back in another 2 minutes (delivering food to another table).
True to her word, she was back. We ordered drinks AND food right away. Drinks arrived in about 4 minutes. Our food came within 15 minutes (not bad considering how busy they were AND apparently short staffed).
My sister had eggs in a basket with Hashbrowns and sausage. I took the 2 mini cheese burger sliders and tater tots (I received the sausage from the other order😈😈).
The food was as ordered, not and good. No complaints at all.
This location has done an absolutely FANTASTIC job from the greeter/ hostess, to the waitress, cooks and checkout.
They were obviously slightly understaffed, the waitresses were REALLY hustling. YET ... Everyone was polite, kind courteous AND PROFESSIONAL!
In this pandemic economy we are in, this business was a breath of fresh air. Job well done. If everyone would emulate these workers, we all could navigate this pandemic with less stress.
They deserve 5 stars and people should check them out.
To all - PLEASE Be nice, Be kind, Take care, Be safe and Stay healthy. 😊😊😊

I ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious. Portion sizes must be doubled. Couldn’t eat it all in one setting. When I go back to Columbia, I’ll go to Cracker Barrel!!

Not worth it to eat here. My wife and I are veterans so we have suffered through bad food in DFAC’s plenty of times. The food here is sloppy, greasy, burnt, or stale. No winners on the menu. We both ordered the Grandma’s Sampler. Eggs were cold, hash-brown casserole tasted like old cheap onions, pancakes were greasy and crunchy and burnt, bacon was just sadness, pinto beans tasted like they died several days prior, sugar cured ham tasted like burnt greasy skillet. I included a pic of one of my pancakes that had noticeable bits of char from previous food. Fire everyone that works in the kitchen here IMO and find staff that actually knows how to cook. Also the waitress brought our food out after numerous tables that ordered after us and never came back until she handed us the wrong ticket. We discovered upfront our ticket was for meatloaf and something else. Cost more but didnt even care at that point. Give me my receipt Im outta here. I have eaten at Cracker Barrel restaurants in numerous states, this is hands down the worst.

It's like any other Cracker Barrel.
Little crowded, little dirty, decent service, decent and consistent food, and big portions for low prices.

Went here with a coworker because he has a broccoli addiction and the Wednesday lunch special is Broccoli Chicken. The restaurant was clean and the hostess very courteous. The server was quick and attentive without being overbearing. The food came out quickly and tasted great.

We went to Cracker Barrel for brunch on Monday, September 6 at 10:30. We knew there would be a wait, therefore we expected it. We waited an hour and ten minutes to be seated. This was our choice, it was fine. When we were seated, we waited a few minutes and the waitress came to get our drink order. We were not ready to order, so we waited for our drinks. We ordered at the time we got our drinks. Thirty minutes later, we still did not have our food. My husband asked "Are you backed up?" The waitress agreed without apology. Ten minutes later, we got our food. All the others that were in our section had gotten their food and were eating by the time we were served (there were four of us). My food came out cold. The meat had been under the warmer for many minutes, it was gross looking. My pancakes were difficult to cut, I had to use my knife. The butter was not even melting on the pancakes. My son ordered a medium steak and it had minimal pink and few juices coming from it. My husband had a chopped steak and it was not seasoned. The only thing we ordered that was even edible (good) was the Chicken and Dumplings and steamed broccoli. My family did not want to replace their meat as we had already waited on our food for forty-five minutes. When the waitress came back, she asked if the food was okay. I said my meat was inedible. She had a replacement within a minute. Therefore, what was the reason they served me the meat they did that was under the warmer? It should have not ever come out of the kitchen. The waitress never came back except to leave the check. She did not stay long enough to refill drinks or talk with us and make sure we were satisfied knowing we had some difficulties. On the way out, I asked for the manager. The manager was cooking (they were short staffed). The manager was just as apathetic as the waitress. He did come out immediately. However, when I said that I did not want compensation, and just wanted to ask him to fix the problems, he said only "thank you." He did listen, but there was not an apology. He did not even try to give me any compensation by way of sorry OR money (in my opinion, to get return customers, it is restaurant practice to at least offer even when a customer says no thank you). He did not ask my name to follow up, he did not apologize for the food or the service. I was appalled at the apathy to make us return customers. I understand them being short staffed. I do not understand the lack of concern. All the waitress had to do to make us happy is to say, "sorry", act like she cared about the slow service (come and say, they are working on the food, it should be out shortly, ask if she could do anything) and NOT bring out food that looked like it had been sitting out at room temperature. Even the manager was apathetic. Instead of saying just agreeing with me, he could have looked at the food I showed him with more of a cursory glance, agreed that it was unacceptable to come out like that, and asked what he could do differently. An apology would have been the first thing. There was no apology. There was no attempt to make things right for us at all. We paid $65 for a meal one of us ate and the dogs got the rest because I paid money for it and did not want it to go to waste. There are things I could have done differently, but we try hard to give people the benefit of the doubt. That is the reason I am not listing names....I still hope that things can be fixed for the better.
