Dave & Buster's Columbia

Quite possibly the worst place to eat and have fun. The service is terrible, the food came out in phases over the course of 2 hours, each appetizer and entrees were cold, the waitress had to take our order because “the online ordering app isn’t working”, and our waitress mysteriously disappears for 30 or so minutes at at time. The food stinks, service less than desirable, and the staff is indifferent. Pro’s: Beer is good (they can’t mess that up, and the games are fun. (Pics- Cold voodoo pasta, $1 Dollar General box pizza for the kids, giant pretzel cold in the middle and sent back, and tacos that are tiny and undercooked). Don’t come here unless your looking to drink and play games only.

Took my kids from Charleston to Columbia to visit. Overall a lot of fun for my 6 and 8 year old. Not a lot of options for smaller kids and frankly it's overly stimulating. Also very concerned at the lack of sanitizer located around considering it's a high-touch atmosphere. We had to search to find it. I recall seeing staff clean the glass with cleaner. I wish I had seen them going around spraying sanitizer on the handles and controls ar least once.

The food was decent and great games. However, the service was horrible. The waitress had an attitude if you can call her a waitress. You have to order everything from the app and then someone brings your food. I had to ask 3 people for utensils and we finally got them when dinner was almost over. I had to ask for refills. I understand no contact in certain instances but when I eat in a restaurant, I expect a level of interaction especially if you want an 18% tip. Just tacky!!

Great food and a great atmosphere. Once you find a seat, a wait staff member will grab your drink orders. You order your food and pay using your phone. Once the kitchen makes it, they'll bring it to your table. Service is usually pretty quick. Occasionally this location is understaffed. I'm not sure if that's due to the current conditions or if the business fluctuates and causes issues. Overall, I, and the family, are very happy with Dave and Busters.

All in all went great! In total, $180 was spent and in a matter of 10 minutes 400 chips were gone due to our crippling gambling addiction. It's a serious problem and we need to get it looked at. On the flip side, the other 400 or so chips were spent in a matter for 2 hours or so. In total we ended up with 3,300 tickets from $180. We got 3 nerd ropes, 4 bags of gummies, 3 ring pops, and 2 push pops. Now let's do some quick math. 4 bags of gummies they weigh less than half a pound and super small would be about $4, 3 nerd ropes would be about $6, 3 ring pops about $3, 2 push pops would be about $2. So now let's combine things shall we? 4 + 6 + 3 + 2 = $15. I think this is an absolute win if you ask me. So now, what does this all mean? Well thanks for asking. This means you get the absolute bang for your buck! Go here if you have a gambling problem, or just go here for your first date. This place will either A. Make your relationship. Or B. Break it. Definitely a good deal if you ask me.
