Crave Artisan Specialty Market is a fun place! They serve lunch and offer lots of local, specialty products to purchase. The Red Hat Honeys met there for lunch and we ordered a variety of different things from the menu. Everyone complimented what they had to eat. I had The Devine sandwich, which is turkey with Trail Ridge Goat Cheese and Sallie's Greatest Fig, Rosemary & Sweet Onion Jam on Turano Bread. One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I purchased a tin of Key Lime Kooler cookies with the State of SC emblem for a gift, a container of pure honey produced by the Bee Trail Farm in Lexington, SC; and a package of Dipsy Doodles Dip Mix (superbly spinach) made by Faithful Foods, Inc. located in West Columbia, SC. I can't wait to try this. Give this place a try! I highly recommend it for eating and and finding great gifts!
It takes a special culinary mind to take a turkey sandwich and make it into something special but these folks pulled it off. There is an art to building complexity of taste and texture in food and foodies are the masters. They start with something familiar and build it until it becomes a culinary experience of hot and cold, sweet and sour, crisp and soft. Every chef in Columbia should make a visit to this place and have a notebook in hand. There is something very special going on in this small space. Bravo for bringing creativity to simple food. And by the way, the chicken pot pie is so good, I'm not bothering to make my recipe anymore. I bow down!
This place is the best. Whether you are craving something healthy or a little decadent, the menu won’t disappoint. When I’m in a rush at work, I order ahead and get curbside delivery. Today, the owner came out to the car to bring me my food. He is delightful and the devine street sandwich, soup of the day and green goddess salad we got were all delicious. Love this local business!
Great hospitality - everyone who works here, from the parking lot "to go" order taker to the inside wait staff to the manager - spoke to us and seemed genuinely happy to be serving. Food was excellent and the casual atmosphere was very comfortable.
The food is delicious here, as always, but today they went above and beyond with customer service!
We ordered some sandwiches to go and realized once we got home that the sandwiches were accidentally missing a key ingredient. We gave them a friendly call, and they immediately asked for our address and hand-delivered replacement sandwiches, free of charge.
That right there is why we should all support great local businesses like Crave!

We were passing through Columbia, and was looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat. Crave came up on my search, so we decided to give it a try. It was just a little after lunch time, looked busy, but we were seated inside rather quickly ( outside seating also available). The service was great, friendly and fast. Excellent sandwiches!
