I had the pleasure of eating lunch here today. The food really reminded me of the food I had in India. The service was great, the restaurant was clean, and overall it was an excellent experience.
Always a treat to eat here. I now go at least once a week if I can. It is a small simple buffet done right. Food is great!
After some days I felt like having our type of food in this trip and found this place. I was a bit reluctant as my experience of Indian food has been bad in US. When we reached this place for dinner we didn’t find any other customer and I got frightened actually. But then we got pleasantly surprised when the food came. We tried chicken tikka masala baigan bharta and tandoori roti. All of this was better than our expectations. Though nowhere near the food I eat in Delhi but the best one in US I had so far.
Came for the lunch buffet, very affordably priced at around 8 dollars. Variety of veg and nonveg dishes like saag, chicken tikka masala, channa masala, pakora, and tandoori chicken and many different chutneys. A basket of fresh naan comes to the table included as well. There is one or two dessert dishes like kheer and mango. The tables are glass top and classy, and the place is very clean. The buffet food is not spicy at all, probably so that anybody can walk in and enjoy the food. All in all it was very pleasant.
Great facilities,incredible food,fast and friendly service.definitely my favorite restaurant in Columbia its extra convenient with the Indian grocery next door.
our favorite Indian restaurant....if not just our favorite restaurant in Columbia. Vast variety of Indian dishes and levels of spice. Service is delightful, welcoming, patient and helpful. Atmosphere is relaxed and not rushed. The food is professionally prepared and presented with personal touches and no hint of commercial shortcuts. The restaurant is clearly a labor of love for the chet and staff. A peaceful blessing to be found.
Our favorite Indian restaurant we love everything here! We normally get the butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, the shrimp tikka masala, roti and garlic naan. I love the mango lassi it’s a great treat to have after eating all the good food. The service here is always great the lady who takes our order is so sweet and always remembers us. We love coming here. We will be back again! Hopefully to dine in soon.
Stopped at this place on a roadtrip, and we were a little skeptical when we entered. We ended up staying and had amazing food. Auntie who was our server, was just amazing. Mango shake though too sweet reminded me of India. Chicken tikka masala and aloo kulcha were awesome too. Will definitely recommend this place if you can get past the simplistic atmosphere.
I love this place. It's a "hole in the wall" Indian restaurant with amazing food! Very friendly!The price is pretty good too. Trucks parking ok too.
They were very informative about the menu and patient with all my questions. Something I didnt know- you can request the level of spice mile,med,hot for every dish they serve. So if your worried about it being hot- not a problem. Very friendly staff and clean. Very family oriented and friendly place.
