Columbo's

I needed to get breakfast before traveling. I arrived, and the sign stated, "Please wait to be seated." So, not wanting to be impolite, I waited, and no one ever showed up. Since I noticed others getting breakfast, I got my food. Since they had omelets, I waited to get one. The only time anyone showed up was to give me my bill.I wanted to ask for some hot sauce, but none was forthcoming. Knowing how much those in the restaurant service are paid, I try to tip as much as reasonably possible. I could not bring myself to do it; the service was so bad.

I went in to Colombo's tonight for dinner and was enjoying the dinner and atmosphere up until the point where a roach went running across the bar. The manager (who was too busy entertaining his family) tried to explain it away by saying they just had an exterminator out and that it is an ongoing thing. He quipped "this is obviously not something we did on purpose." I'm not sure if he thought that was going to make things better or not but I could have done without that comment. Absolutely Disgusting!! Another patron spoke up and stated that this is NOT the first time this has happened in this restaurant and that she has said something to them before about this. The manager then apologized, wiped the roach up with a napkin and walked away. He never came back out of the kitchen. They offered a discount when they clearly should have eaten the cost of those meals. I will never eat here again.

Have ordered through door dash multiple times, always missing items and today we found out that after waiting for the food for over an hour, that they aren’t even open. Update your hours on the apps you use to serve customers. This is ridiculous. Edit: tried again, just for good measure, and when my DoorDasher arrived they were told my order was rejected bc of some error in their system. I really wanted a new spot to grab some vegan options but this is NOT IT. bad bad bad. Wish I could give it 0 stars. Honestly. 🙄

I’m generally a patient customer, I dine out frequently (10+ meals a week), I give restaurants excellent reviews, bad reviews and everything in between. Granted, I showed up right before the bar got super busy but my colleague and I placed food orders at the exact same time, his food came out on time and 45 minutes later I received mine. The bartender obviously forgot to put in my food order which I understand, accidents happen. However instead of apologies I got a host of excuses including the kitchen made it wrong, the kitchen forgot something and lack of staffing because of covid. I know covid has affected the food/beverage industry but the service and more importantly the lack of accountability was unacceptable.
