Had lunch at this location last week. Great, as it wasn't crowded at lunchtime; and the customer service was just amazing! My first time at this location, but I've had McAlister's before. Always loved it, and love their sandwiches. Sweet tea is absolutely over the top good!
My only issue was my sandwich. Enough to knock it from five stars to four. I ordered the French Dip sandwich. Looked great and even tasted great. My problem was the roast beef was cut so thick, I had to gnaw it out of the sandwich. The beef needs to be cut much thinner! I'm sure the idea of serving thick cuts is more visually appealing, but roast beef isn't meant to be chewed at that cut. The fat that runs through it caused me to have to gnaw most of the sandwich.
Certainly willing to go back. But not for that sandwich.

The customer service was awesome and it wasn't overly crowded so you could sit and eat comfortably. My food was great! I had the Green Goddess Cobb Salad and half a Chicken salad sandwich. My friend wasn't as fortunate. Her baked potato was cold and old with the wrong toppings. They did remake the meal but the salad was wrong. However, the manager was awesome and removed that meal and did offer another one. Overall it was okay.

I definitely would have given 4-5 stars, but my husband & i ordered 2 grilled chicken salads through Door Dash on 6/21/2022 and we did not receive the chicken on our salads. I notified the restaurant within 5 minutes of receiving our order. The representative that answered the phone was extremely professional. She apologized for the inconvenience and stated the manager would contact me after verifying all of my contact information and receipt number. As of today 6/27/2022, I have yet to hear from anyone. My money is just as important as the service.

The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of the the poor over worked kid that finally brought our food out to us. He was amazing. I just wish I knew his name so I could give him the proper praise. I waited for about 15 mins when someone finally came out, he asked our name and said he would be right back. HE NEVER CAME BACK. Called. They said it will be right out. There were 2 other cars waiting also that came after we did. They waited and waited. One called. Poor sweet kid came out. She got nasty with him. And I could see the terror on his face when he thought I was gonna yell at him too. They he relaxed when he saw I wasn't. Was very apologetic for the long wait and got my order for me. From the time I checked in to the time I got my food was 1 hr.

Best crew in all of Columbia! I absolutely love this staff! They recgonize you as a regular, and always have food out extremely quick! Highly recommend this location to anyone in the Columbia area looking for a quick meal.

Although the restaurant was understaffed, it took 40 minutes to receive our food. My spud (baked potato) was ice cold (and the rest of the food looked like it was just thrown together. I asked one of the workers for a new hot potato. After 15 minutes of no potato, my daughter went to find out what was going on. After another 10 minutes I finally received it. Will not be back.

Walked in at 3:20pm and everyone was visually and verbally upset we arrived 40 minutes before they closed. Told us the grill was closed and cannot order clubs. Ordered a Ruben and it was literally meat and bread, no cheese or thousand island. Probably the worst sandwich I have ever been served seriously. Food sucks and employees have a terrible attitude. I visited this location today and was extremely disappointed. I ordered an avocado BLT through door dash and when I received it, there was no avocado. I politely asked for avocado, and was told by the staff that there was none. I then continued to ask for some kind of refund or resolution to the problem, and the manager on staff, Jada, refused to look at me and even laughed at me. I would have even taken a sorry thank you, but she turned her back to me and the entire staff did not provide any kind of support. I am disappointed in Jada and her ability to provide quality customer service, let alone basic respect. I will not be going anywhere near this McAlisters location again, and will be encouraging my peers to steer clear as well. Have some respect for your customers.
