Briar Mart serves the most reasonably priced and best tasting Mediterranean food in Colorado Springs. I highly recommend the Mediterranean platter. It also has a grocery for foods hard to find elsewhere.

Big servings of food at a great value. I especially enjoyed the baklava, it's wasn't too sweet and was very enjoyable. I just wish there was tea or coffee I could enjoy it with. Personally, I prefer the chicken kabob over the beef gyro but both were good. Definitely recommend a visit!

Best Mediterranean food in COS. The food was cooked to order and it was perfect in every way. The chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the salad was very fresh. Hummus came with warm pita chips. You can tell that great effort and care went into the preparation at this meal. Thereโs also a small outdoor dining area. We will definitely be back!

Great cafe / restaurant and mediterranen groceries. Food was amazing! We had the Gyro Plate, Falafel Sandwich and Fries. So good!!! There is one dining room behind the groceries area, with several tables. You pay upfront, prizes are great! The food is fresh and very well cooked, taste is amazing! Service super friendly. Will definitely come back.

How have I lived in Co Spgs my whole life and just now learned of this gem! The food is to die for and they get it out fast to you. You can tell they care about what they do. The plates are huge for a great price. They even have vegan options! The man at the register was so nice too. Iโll definitely be coming back.

We've been going here for years. Owned and run by 2 brothers and a sister. Wonderful taste true Mediterranean cuisine. I only took one photo of the appetizers sample. So good! Try it and tell us what you like best. Also we shared the chicken gyro plate. Took home leftovers for tonight.

Small, unassuming location and interior, but BIG on taste and deliciousness! Little Mediterranean market inside to peruse while you wait. Food was yummy. Meat was tender, rice was perfectly cooked and the salad was dressed appropriately. Would highly recommend and will return.

The owner is so nice and the food is always fresh and delicious! Started coming to Briarmart when it was across from the mall, then lost track until it turned up here! It was the best years ago and it's still the best today!!

We've been patronizing this place for several years and it's not the closest Greek food but it's our favorite so we are willing to drive a bit further. Delicious gyros and fresh, generous amount of fries. Respectful and friendly guy runs the place, and when we go pick up our take-out orders we find fun and interesting mediterranean foods to try in the grocery area.

Some of the best falafel in town! And that lamb meat is so tender and flavorful....not to mention the shoe string fries are cooked to perfection. The salad was very fresh, and the taziki sauce was perfect.
I loved the bodega in the front of the building. There are so many options to choose from to make your favorite dishes at home.

Found this little spot Tuesday called Briar Mart up off n academy directly across from freaky's. It's a nice little place with a Mediterranean food store, and some popping gyros! For those who know me know how much I LOVE Greek and Jewish food and this place was spot on! The gyro was so stuffed I had to take some with me. I am definitely going back to this place! So peaceful and worth the price for sure!

Flat out phenomenal. If you really know Greek\mediterranean food then you will not be disappointed. Don't be surprised by the atmosphere, it's about the food. The restaurant has a market in front with lots of things you would use for Mediterranean cooking, things you might not find elsewhere. But the food, oh the food is so good, you'll cry. You might have a small wait if eating there as everything is cooked fresh to order. But now that I know it's here I'll be calling orders in for pickup as it appears many loyal customers do. Hands down one of the best meals in Colorado Springs.

This food was delish! ๐ I'm glad we found this place, I've always been meaning to go and I am so glad we checked it out!! Worth the wait, and next time I will definitely check out the store more; I love trying candy from different places but they had so much more to look at! Got a giant candy bar on my next visit and I'm excited to try more flavors! ๐

Delicious! Warm and welcoming service. Unfortunately when we were here the only diet soda pop they had was diet mountain dew which my wife was a little disappointed in. We started out with the saganaki which was tasty. A little bit on the salty side which we used the fresh tomatoes to act as the counterbalance. The gyro plate was great and so were both the beef and chicken kabobs. You should definitely come eat here, It's a good one.

Best 8 bucks ever spent ๐ the gyro I ordered was made fresh in house, hot and ready, and tasted delicious.

This is one of those hidden gems in the Colorado Springs area. It's very unassuming from the exterior which doesn't lead you to think it's anything other than a strange convenience store. The name Briar Mart also doesn't hint at the deliciousness within. Once inside your still not sure what's going on as they do sell prepackaged spices and other Mediterranean ingredients. Once past the shelves of groceries you find the real goods. Now I can only attest to the drool inducing deliciousness that is the Greek Nachos and the Gyros, but man/woman are they tasty. I'm sure I'll branch out and try some of the other dishes but it's difficult to stray from those favorites. I highly recommend giving this place a try anytime your in the area.

The service and food were excellent! The restaurant is a bit chilly, but for a quick lunch it was pretty perfect! Will definitely eat here again!

I've always liked this place. The gyros and fries are good and a solid value but if you want a treat, have the Sultani. It was good before they moved but it seems to be a little better now. Better kitchen? Whatever it is, I like it.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. That place is terrible, I will tell everyone I can about it! I called to this store to find halal meat and this guy was the rudest person I have ever spoke to in my life, he informed me the only halal meat they carried was ground beef and I asked him if he knew of any other halal stores in Colorado Springs as I am trying to make my husbands father's day special, he then told me their were none and he obviously doesnt know what he is talking about because 2 weeks ago my husband bought halal meat from up north Colorado Springs, I just dont know were from and was trying to find out info, he then told me that was nice and what do I want him to do about it, he then said ok thanks bye, dont ever buy anything from here, the ruddest person ever, the owner should be ashamed to have this person working for them and if that was the owner, he should be ashamed, you do not treat people that way or else you wont have any business!!! tell everyone you can not to buy from here!!!! That person is a disgrace to the Muslim community!!!

Bewildered. The three takeaways from this review are:
1. Briar Mart has good Mediterranean food for a reasonable price
2. Don't use groupons at Briar Mart
3. 3. Don't let your wife or girlfriend be the one to talk to the owner if something is wrong with your order if you aren't ready for her to be screamed at by a large man

After multiple delicious trips to Briar Mart over a three year period always ordering beef kabobs and rice, I was very much caught off guard by the experience my wife and I had today. We were using the second groupon we had bought and ordered two beef kabob plates. When they were ready, salad was served instead of rice. My wife told the man(I'm pretty sure he is the owner) at the cash register that we had ordered rice instead of salads. Out of nowhere, he starts screaming at her that she is wrong. I approached the situation and he starts pointing at my wife yelling about her and pointing his finger at her with the attitude one would expect more from a person yelling at a dog. He says she is always orders salad with her family (I'm her only family in the state and we always get rice). My only response is that we won't be coming back. He screams that we only spent two dollars(due to the groupon) so he is glad we aren't returning.

In hindsight, I am still completely bewildered as to the way we were treated in this store today. Maybe the owner was having a bad day/week/year and the incorrect order was the thing that broke the camels back. Maybe he confused my wife with another customer. Either way, I have never seen someone treated as rudely in a restaurant in my life as I experienced today at Briar Mart.

Yummiest. I love goint to the Briar Mart I have been a loyal customer for at least 7 years. The food is always so yummy. Everything that I have ever eaten there has been terrific. When i went in there today for my gyros platter they informed me that they are opening a seconed store on Woodman. I'm so happy to hear that. I love the Briar Mart

I would have never tried this place based on the store's facade. The place looks pretty dingy from the outside. Actually, it isn't much nicer inside. But the food makes up for it -- best gyro I've had in ages.

Hidden Gem. This is wonderful place for a quick, delicious lunch or take out food. It all tastes home made, and the atmosphere is about as unpretentious as you can get. Prices are very reasonable and quality is good.

Awesome Place. This is a great place for anyone who loves middle eastern and greek food. The staff is friendly and they have a great selection of middle eastern and greek groceries for all your cooking needs.

What is lacking in ambiance, is more than made up for by the friendly staff and amazing food. If you like middle-eastern food/gyros, check it out. Reasonable prices (avg w/o drink 6-9$), and generous portions. Skip the mall food and eat here instead.

Great place! $6 specials. You get a great Gyros, FRESH fries, and a fountain drink in a to-go cup. It's a small eatery in a Mediterian mart. If you want an authentic taste of Greek at a great price, Briar Mart is your place.

I wanted something a little different today, so I decided to try Briar-Mart - it's a Middle-Eastern market with a small restaurant inside. I ordered the Gyro combo, which is cheap (6 bucks), and comes with fries and a drink. Then I went to another part of
