Great food; New address ... 6799 North Academy
I've always liked this place. The gyros and fries are good and a solid value but if you want a treat, have the Sultani. It was good before they moved but it seems to be a little better now. Better kitchen? Whatever it is, I like it.
Yummiest. I love goint to the Briar Mart I have been a loyal customer for at least 7 years. The food is always so yummy. Everything that I have ever eaten there has been terrific. When i went in there today for my gyros platter they informed me that they are opening a seconed store on Woodman. I'm so happy to hear that. I love the Briar Mart
I would have never tried this place based on the store's facade. The place looks pretty dingy from the outside. Actually, it isn't much nicer inside. But the food makes up for it -- best gyro I've had in ages.
Awesome Place. This is a great place for anyone who loves middle eastern and greek food. The staff is friendly and they have a great selection of middle eastern and greek groceries for all your cooking needs.
What is lacking in ambiance, is more than made up for by the friendly staff and amazing food. If you like middle-eastern food/gyros, check it out. Reasonable prices (avg w/o drink 6-9$), and generous portions. Skip the mall food and eat here instead.
Great place! $6 specials. You get a great Gyros, FRESH fries, and a fountain drink in a to-go cup. It's a small eatery in a Mediterian mart. If you want an authentic taste of Greek at a great price, Briar Mart is your place.
I wanted something a little different today, so I decided to try Briar-Mart - it's a Middle-Eastern market with a small restaurant inside. I ordered the Gyro combo, which is cheap (6 bucks), and comes with fries and a drink. Then I went to another part of
Briar Mart serves the most reasonably priced and best tasting Mediterranean food in Colorado Springs. I highly recommend the Mediterranean platter. It also has a grocery for foods hard to find elsewhere.
Big servings of food at a great value. I especially enjoyed the baklava, it's wasn't too sweet and was very enjoyable. I just wish there was tea or coffee I could enjoy it with. Personally, I prefer the chicken kabob over the beef gyro but both were good. Definitely recommend a visit!
Best Mediterranean food in COS. The food was cooked to order and it was perfect in every way. The chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the salad was very fresh. Hummus came with warm pita chips. You can tell that great effort and care went into the preparation at this meal. There’s also a small outdoor dining area. We will definitely be back!
Great cafe / restaurant and mediterranen groceries. Food was amazing! We had the Gyro Plate, Falafel Sandwich and Fries. So good!!! There is one dining room behind the groceries area, with several tables. You pay upfront, prizes are great! The food is fresh and very well cooked, taste is amazing! Service super friendly. Will definitely come back.
How have I lived in Co Spgs my whole life and just now learned of this gem! The food is to die for and they get it out fast to you. You can tell they care about what they do. The plates are huge for a great price. They even have vegan options! The man at the register was so nice too. I’ll definitely be coming back.
We've been going here for years. Owned and run by 2 brothers and a sister. Wonderful taste true Mediterranean cuisine. I only took one photo of the appetizers sample. So good! Try it and tell us what you like best. Also we shared the chicken gyro plate. Took home leftovers for tonight.
Small, unassuming location and interior, but BIG on taste and deliciousness! Little Mediterranean market inside to peruse while you wait. Food was yummy. Meat was tender, rice was perfectly cooked and the salad was dressed appropriately. Would highly recommend and will return.
The owner is so nice and the food is always fresh and delicious! Started coming to Briarmart when it was across from the mall, then lost track until it turned up here! It was the best years ago and it's still the best today!!
We've been patronizing this place for several years and it's not the closest Greek food but it's our favorite so we are willing to drive a bit further. Delicious gyros and fresh, generous amount of fries. Respectful and friendly guy runs the place, and when we go pick up our take-out orders we find fun and interesting mediterranean foods to try in the grocery area.
Some of the best falafel in town! And that lamb meat is so tender and flavorful....not to mention the shoe string fries are cooked to perfection. The salad was very fresh, and the taziki sauce was perfect.
I loved the bodega in the front of the building. There are so many options to choose from to make your favorite dishes at home.
