I picked up food from this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and had an overall good experience.
The parking is easy and accessible, the restaurant itself is pretty old and could use an update, but wasn't dirty at all (just showing its age).
The food was prepared quickly and correctly and the taste was good. Not close to the best philly cheesesteak that I've had, but not bad (very packed with meat, which was nice!). Price-wise, I feel that they are in the typical range for this category of food.
All in all, a pretty good experience - definitely worth grabbing when you want a quick and tasty meal!
I have been here twice now, the staff is young and well trained. Fast polite service, low ticket times. Food was hot and tasty. Not a bad cheesesteak, definitely recommend.
The elderly beautiful lady was amazing. It was our first time in. Told us all about the items. Boy, she was spot on! Amazing delicious food. The 12-inch Philly mushroom steak is so big. I would suggest maybe sharing. It was good to have the rest of our sandwich the next day as well. I highly recommend this place!!! The place is very busy, extremely clean.

Always a great cheese steak and their shoe string fries are perfectly cooked every time! Really great onion rings also.
The staff is always friendly and checks in with the table periodically to make certain you don't need anything.
(Pro tip: Ask for A-1 steak sauce and drizzle some onto your cheese steak before eating it!)
A good spot to grab an "almost" authentic Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Friendly and cheerful staff, sanitary dining area, but my take home sandwich just wasn't quite all that tasty, like maybe the steak was freezer burned. I will probably give them another chance anyway, as have never had a bad experience before.

I've been going to various ToP restaurants in the area for 25 years now and this one didn't disappoint. The only drawback is they serve Bud and Bud light. Like everything else, it cost a lot more than I remember. Not their fault.
I enjoy coming to this location. Their Philly's are wonderful. Their staff is friendly and their chefs are Great! I recommend this place to everyone!
The Cheesesteak Fries are killer.
I was actually headed for the spot next door but construction outside of Piglatin Cocina diverted me to Taste of Philly. I had been to the location on South Academy so I didn't have high hopes. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
They have a nice sized dining room with a good mix of booths and tables. The waitress I had was quick and efficient and got my order going right away.
Usually I would go with a steak sandwich, but decided to try the Cheesesteak Fries. Great decision, as it was so good. I had my fries done 'The Works' style and it looked amazing when it came out. And tastewise, it was everything I wanted. I was completely full and satisfied when I left. I only knocked off a star because my booth table was sticky, so maybe they could be a little more diligent with the table cleaning.
