Absolutely phenomenal food and service. I don't know why random strangers are picking on these wonderful people because of their ethnicity or a non-existent relationship with certain countries in the news, but it's stupid. Just try anything on the menu, it'll make you change your mind. Although I can especially recommend anything involving shawarma, gyro, or kebab!
This local family restaurant was absolutely delicious. My partner got the chicken kabob plate while I got the lamb/beef mishkool plate. The food was very flavorful and the hummus was addictive. Only visiting for vacation, but would definitely come back for more.
Also they were very friendly and seemed to know their regulars. Overall great experience!
We were looking for a halal restaurant and found this place. halal items are marked on the menu. overall the food was good. we order the Lentil Soup, Kabab Platter and Grilled Tilapia Platter.
Friendly staff, perfect food, fair price for the amount served! Will be going back. I like them also because they are very generous to the homeless.
They were out of beef kabobs and I’ll admit that I was sad, but ordered the chicken and I am so happy they were out of beef. The chicken was SO GOOD and amazing. I love that they feed hungry people here and I encourage anyone to help donate to their Food For All fund, because this establishment is doing the community a huge service. I love their mission. These guys can cook and are awesome people.
Absolutely delicious!! I had the falafel plate + baklava and every bite was amazing!! I even had to get tabbouleh to eat later because I just couldn’t get enough of it.
My heart was warmed by their “food for all” fund/policy, where they feed everyone regardless of ability to pay. ❤️ we need more places like this. I will definitely be back again soon!
Service started off a bit slow but got better. Food was tasty. Rice is different from what I've had but tasty. A definite try if in the area. Baba ganoush and hummus are tasty. As are the dolma.
The best Arabic and Greek food in Colorado. The owners have a sign on the door that reads:
Hungry
No Money
No problem
Come On In
A Homeless dude walks in while I waited for my food and says he's hungry but doesn't have any money. The owner took him in and fed him no questions asked. What a blessing this restaurant is to the community!
Little place tucked away alongside tattoo shops and bars , but don’t pass it up. So much flavor and generous portions. Had the beef/lamb plate and it was amazing. Informal dining vibes and good people watching through the window.
Heart of Jerusalem is a hidden gem serving some of the best Greek food in town! As a military-owned business, the heart and soul put into the food is evident in every bite. Although the restaurant was packed after opening, the welcoming and accommodating staff seated us quickly and provided outstanding service throughout our visit.
I ordered the gyro platter over rice and was blown away by the flavors and quality of the dish. The rice was worth every penny of the upcharge, and the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. I only wish they were topped with feta cheese to take them to the next level!!
Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Heart of Jerusalem and I highly recommend it to anyone in the mood for delicious Greek cuisine.
