This is such a fun coffee shop. I love that they use The Sourdough Boulangerie’s bread for their sandwiches and cinnamon rolls. I love their word of the day and the upper floor seating with a cool view of the street below and beautiful natural lighting. It’s a great meeting place. I’ve had nondairy lattes here before which were good. Good coffee too. Thai curry soup was good. Excellent customer service. The only thing that would get me to come here more is if there were a vegan sandwich option.
A blessing between all the fast food shops, here you can taste what food can be like and how cafe latte should be made.
My favorite coffee shop of all time! I love to come work on the 2nd floor because it has so much natural light from the huge windows and they have great breakfast burritos and sandwhich wraps. Sometimes I sit on the outdoor patio to enjoy the fresh air. I love the lattes, both hot and cold! There are wonderful baked goods all fresh and locally sourced and it's hard to choose, but I just recently had a candy cane scone and it's currently my favorite. Sometimes there is live music and this past Sunday, I thoroughly enjoyed the voice and guitar playing of Jasper Rose. There is an area of amazing plants for sale and I get them as gift regularly, as well as a lot of local artist's paintings, etc. for sale. The couple who own the shop are lovely, and the staff is always friendly and on the ball. I love getting my coffee in a real mug with real dishes and silverware instead of paper and plastic...and once you order, you can take a seat as they will bring it out to you! I've yet to get an adult beverage, since I'm usually working, but they sound incredible and on my radar to try soon!!
Came at 8ish am on a Sunday. Not busy and has a great vibe. The staff were so nice. We ordered a cinnamon roll and coffee. All were great!
Great options of coffee, baked goods and menu items at this eclectic coffee shop in downtown Colorado Springs off of south Tejon. Park on the street and feed the meters or park in a paid parking lot for extended downtown parking. Boutique coffee shop with Gluten free and dairy free options. The dining area makes up A variety of mismatched chairs and tables, decor with a local vintage vibe. Friendly but quiet atmosphere. Good place to hang out and work on the laptop with a good cup of coffee or a novel. I had iced coffee with oat milk and gluten free pumpkin bread. 👍👍 I’ll definitely be back to try the other flavors! Banana bread or coffee cake next time! And as always—gluten free. My boys had brownies they couldn’t even finish they were so large! I highly recommend a Saturday morning outing! With your kids, your family, your friends, or solo. Outdoor seating available.
My boyfriend and I originally wanted to go to Urban Egg, but the line was way too long as per usual, so we figured we’d find something else.
From the outside, we thought okay we’ll just get coffee and head to find something else to eat. But once inside, we discovered this comforting atmosphere that also had breakfast items. So we stayed. Thank God we did.
We decided to get hot chocolate, a mimosa for myself, avocado toast and a breakfast sandwich. Omg when I tell you I was in heaven…it was so delicious and definitely filled that hunger. We will definitely be going back to try more that they have to offer.
This place rocks. And it's OPEN, unlike Loyal Coffee, which closes suuuuuuper early. So if you like Loyal, come here instead...more space, cool upstairs space and view. This is my new downtown Colorado Springs coffee shop.
Bagel sandwiches (we had one each of ham, bacon and sausage)were delicious. Bacon burrito was ok but the bacon itself was amazing. Drip coffee was also very good. Upstairs loft has great morning light, good atmosphere, would go back.

Cute coffee shop, love the art work on the walls. It has a 2nd floor and a balcony to hang out on. The ladies at the counter gave amazing customer service. I got a Chai Latte (Sweet) and it was delicious. Got two sausage burritos, they were alright.
If you're looking for a cozy and unique coffee shop in downtown Colorado Springs, The Perk Downtown is a must-visit. As a locally owned establishment, they offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The shop features an impressive array of art work for sale from local artists, which adds to the charm of the place.
One of the things that sets The Perk Downtown apart is the beautiful hand painted murals that adorn the walls. They are truly works of art and provide a feast for the eyes while you sip on your coffee. With two floors of seating, there is plenty of space to find a cozy nook or a spot to spread out and get some work done. But the real gem is the outdoor space on the top floor, complete with colorful iron bistro sets and a view of the mountains.
Not only is the atmosphere at The Perk Downtown delightful, but the coffee is top-notch as well. They offer a variety of blends and brews to suit any taste, and their baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. Whether you're looking to catch up with friends or simply enjoy some quiet time alone, The Perk Downtown is the perfect spot to do so. I highly recommend checking it out!
Good place for a morning coffee if you are in the area. Downtown parking can be a bit of a pain, but get there early. Coffee was strong and a bit over powering. Food was good and enjoyable. Only down side was the homeless person who refused to leave. Not the business' fault as they addressed the issue very politely and professional offering to get the individual some help. Overall will be back to give them another try and see how the next visit goes.
A friend invited me to have coffee at The Perk Downtown. A cool location and great coffee. These folks know how to make a great mocha! If you appreciate really good coffee, try this place.
