Amazing flavors! The appetizer plate was a good sampler and the flavor of the dolmas, yum. The shawarma plate was delicious as was the lamb pot. But the desserts were unreal. Their pistachio baklava was so so so good, best I’ve ever had and then the pecan cinnamon one reminds me of a cinnamon roll. The shredded wheat one was our least favorite but it was still good. Could be a bit cooler inside and the handwritten, cross-outs and write ins - there were a lot but just ask. Very friendly and will definitely be back. The flavors are just wonderful!! Best meal we’ve had in a long time. Note: It’s not easily seen from the road and Apple maps has its location wrong.

This place is great! It’s small and in a strip center but the food is on point! The owner and chef were personable and all my boys loved it. I highly recommend the okra lamb stew and kufta kebab.

Absolutely amazing. If you are looking for something to excited your taste buds and make you want to keep coming back, this is the place. Tonight was my first time there and I had the appetizer sampler and chicken shawarma. The best food I've eaten in a long time. If you are remotely close to the Colorado Springs area, go by The Land of the Pyramids. Don't forget to order tea....and you definitely want room for dessert!

Moved to Fala-Filo 6050 N. Carefree Cr! What a treat! We came here with a friend, and have been regulares ever since. The owner is so nice and a fabulous cook! She makes us things that are not on the menu. If she recommends it, try it! We eat family style so we don't have to choose just one!

Absolutely marvelous place. Can’t even describe how delicious the food is. The kindness and hospitality of the hosts makes up for how small the place is but I know they are looking into expanding. Probably one of the hidden treasures of CO Springs. You won’t regret stopping by

Fantastic food, a little hidden but cozy. Fresh prepared to order. Everything was delicious. Would greatly recommend this place to get to know mid-eastern food.

This turned out to be the sweetest date night! Incredible food and the most genuine service. We were so taken care of from the moment we walked in the door, not in the way I’m used to but as if we stepped into Egypt. This entire experience is unforgettable. YUM. Just look at this presentation... my advice is to come here with no expectations, and let the kind man guide your dining experience. He practically ordered for us and we were not disappointed!

Went here with some friends while I was visiting Colorado Springs. Was told about this from some co-workers, and it was outstanding. Ordered this Jordanian dish with various seasoned rice and a yohgurt broth. Then I ordered some sahlab, a drink with milk, vanilla, orange blossom, and more. Finally, the owner gave us some hot tea on the house, a wonderful end to the meal. Will definitely return before I leave.

Land of the Pyramids is a hidden gem. They serve the same calibur of food as bistros and upscale cafes. The hummus is smooth and rich. The meat and rice are expertly seasoned with traditional Egyptian spices. And the Turkish coffee was much better than what I've had at Jerusalem Cafe. I was very impressed and will definitely be returning for more.

For anyone trying to find where they moved to, they are now: Fala-Filo, at 6050 North Carefree Circle, confirmed as of Jan 26, 2019. This has been, so far, the best example of Mediterranean-region food I have had; I think ever. And I do use the word 'food' rather than 'cuisine', as I might normally--there's no pretentiousness here, at all. Everything is hand-made and prepared to order. I really don't have anything else to say; just if you're a fan of good food, made with care, come here and try this place. Just keep in mind a lot of the photographs posted here are old; they no longer represent what they are now.
