Cracker Barrel in Colorado Springs is really a great place to eat. It has kept prices down and quality up. I enjoy the gift shop every time we go there and most times find something I can't live without. Christmas decorations are superior. We celebrated two of our daughters' birthdays there this past Sunday and we all came away smiling. Great waitress, Deanna T. Chelsea helped with a return yesterday and she was very efficient and friendly.
My experience was wonderful. My grandson loved it and he knows it is Mimi’s favorite place. The food was excellent and the service. Keep up the great job! 👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I've loved cracker barrel. They definitely nail their breakfast. I come here every now and then, and I'm always satisfied with my experience. Cracker Barrel is just about your American sit-down restaurant, with a gift shop in the front. As you make your way down, you'll go into more of the restaurant area. The atmosphere is very nice and it improved my experience.
My waiter was very friendly and made some jokes as well, the service was also very fast. when we ordered our food, it was ready in about 10 minutes. The food itself was amazing, I ordered "mommas pancakes breakfast," which came with 3 butter milk pancakes and a side of bacon and eggs. I noticed the quality of the food was great, the pancakes were definitely above your average pancake, the bacon was crisp, and the eggs were just the way I ordered. I also recommend getting their jam and syrup. It's their signature, and it tastes great! Overall, I recommend coming to Cracker Barrel for a great experience
First time at Cracker Barrel and by far the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were delicious!!!!!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was so clean and comfortable. Very great food for sure I recommend everyone try !!!!
I went here a month ago or so and honestly going here is always a fun time never a dull experience. Truly I thought the food was great even with the the restaurant being busy the waiter still would come to the table and check on you.
We opted to pick up a 4-6 person holiday ready-to-heat family meal. It included turkey breast, dressing, turkey gravy, sweet potato casserole, mac-n-cheese, and rolls. I added a few other favorite holiday sides and we had more than enough for 7 people, plus leftovers. We added an apple struesel pie, which was quickly devoured along with vanilla froyo on top. Everything was very good (except the rolls weren't anything special and few were eaten). We felt this was a good way to host a holiday dinner away from home and it worked out well. The very clear cooking instructions were much appreciated! In the margins, I added the time when each item was put in the oven and what time to take it out. That helped simplify prep as there were many items to track.
Great service, very friendly hostess! My first time at the Cracker Barrel, I tried the catfish and fried steak and it was surprisingly good. They have a great gift store there too.
I think the food is always good. When I go here the host who sat us the other night was the worst. He was rude and turn the corner and sat at the first table he seen, which was told to me by the waitress in that section that she doesn’t know why they keep sending them in her section and nobody else’s. The waiter after we moved seats he was so pleasant such a great person and a very fun attitude. I just wish I remembered his name he was a young guy with long hair, and as for the atmosphere, it was freezing the whole time we were there.
The trip to Cracker Barrel is always a good experience for the first-timer, and down to earth southern cooking for the regular patron.
The store - Warm feeling and nicely decorated with vintage tools and household items (not a bad idea for educational purposes for kids). Definitely a good place to shop for unique and festive gifts.
The restaurant - Good variety of menu choices and affordable prices. Service was average. I think for most of the Cracker Barrel stores I ever been, including this store, the food is slightly above average and suit for the hungry. It is more challenging for the ones who are more discerning in palate.
Cracker Barrel never disappoints. My favorite meal is the grilled chicken tenderloins with mac and cheese and a side of pinto beans. The marinade on the chicken is really good. Also, they have some of the best biscuits in town, which is a challenge at this altitude for most breakfast places. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. The staff is always friendly.
I love CB. Prices are good compared to a lot of other restaurants in the same price range. Saturday they have country fried pork chops. 🤤You get 2 . I always take one home. I love the country store. Cute stuff. And lots of goodies you don’t find in stores. It’s so underrated IMO

I went here for breakfast, was looking for some good comfort food and it didn't disappoint. The server was friendly and the food came out fresh and hot. I got the grandpa's fried country breakfast and I highly recommend it! It wasn't even that busy on a Saturday morning either which was nice.
