Canceling my trip to area 51 to return to Cold Spring, because this cafe is the crown juul of the Hudson Valley. The Garden Cafe offers a menu with a wide variety of options and are more than happy to cater to the customers every need, I asked for the tuna melt with extra pickles and they were more than happy to oblige. The frozen yogurt section could use a few more toppings, especially in the vegetable department, but the yogurt was very delicious on its own - i ate so much i got the worse case of the runs i’ve had since my aunts thanksgiving party. Luckily, the bathroom was large and had enough toilet paper to satisfy all my needs and bowel explosions . While I was waddling towards the bathroom I got an all access pass to the kitchen, it was very interesting, i closely watched this boy wearing purple vans craft my panini and it was the most intense interaction between man and food i’ve ever witnessed, pure passion from the staff. A wonderful cafe 8/8

Very good cookies and hot chocolate. Some board games available as well. Very nice place in the heart of the town

Pros: Very good prices, lots of indoor seating, good location, has a bathroom
Cons: Kinda dirty, sloppy place. Some very loud, fratty teenage employee dudes making lots of cringy commentary to all customers. The bathroom is in the kitchen behind the counter.
Overall not impressed but worked to get us out of the cold

Great local place with quality food. Most important no wait time, we went there after a hike and it was great place to eat at afterwards. They also have good variety of food.

I should have turned around as soon as I walked in, but hunger got the better of me. Every part of my visit here was unacceptable. First off, the employees did not enforce any coronavirus protections or regulations. The shop was initially not that bad, but quickly became crowded and many customers were absent minded about masks and distancing. It was definitely over capacity. Secondly, the cashier spoke in the lowest volume possible, and I had tremendous difficulty hearing her. The food took forever to arrive, at which point the order was wrong. Once the order was corrected, the food was barely edible (you'd think a menu item called "three cheese melt" would be melted, but then you'd be wrong). But, hey, it's a cafe so they must have decent coffee, right? In this case, no, they do not. The "coffee" was more equivalent to bean water and without any sort of flavoring. Other issues: employee mis-handed a drink to a different customer which caused a spill. Rather than clean it up immediately, the employee went to the back to grab the next order and left the spill on the floor for a good 15 minutes before cleaning it up. A different employee decided that right on the counter by the registers was the best place to count out her tips at the end of her shift rather than in the back. When they "ran out of food" they instead relied on a customer to new patrons entering that the kitchen was closed rather than posting a sign or having an employee inform the new patrons.
Avoid at all costs. It's not worth the frustration.

Lovely cafe serving really yummy food! I ordered for the vegetarian wrap and it was super yummy. It comes with pickles and the hot sauce adds up to the flavour too. The cafe has a really clean restroom as well. The person serving me food was really helpful and very very accomodating. I felt so warm and welcome.
The cafe also offers board games like chess which we ended up playing for a long time. Overall , this cafe is just right if you want to sit back, enjoy the views of the city and spend some time playing with your friends.
Totally recommend to all of you!

This place is pretty sloppy and gross on the inside. Out of place on an otherwise charming Main Street. If you’re looking for coffee, would suggest trying another one of the many options on the block.
