Doug's Pretty Good Pub

This place is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a special lunch, this is the place that comes instantly to my mind. Great and all sorts of food and a rich cuisine.generous team, and good mood. Also important, the pay is good. I suggest this restaurant with no hesitation.

My apologies for the poor lighting on the burgers. We stumbled upon this place late in the evening and we were very happy with the choice. The staff is incredibly friendly. We had our baby son with us and they worked hard to accommodate us and treat us well. The burgers are great and unique. They are served on English muffins and this adds to their charm. We ordered the Gulf Coast burger (has sweet peppers and mild spicy mayo) and the Nutty Hog. The latter was a novel creation with peanut butter (yes, that’s correct) and bacon. At first, we didn’t know what to expect, but the flavors just work and don’t overpower one another. Their fries were awesome, too. We’ll definitely come again. They also like cheesy jokes, as are shown on the back of the menu.

I don't get to Cold Spring often, but after a day of hiking in the nearby Hudson Highlands State Park this is the place to re-fuel. The tongue-in-cheek review of "Voted best burger in town by some guy who likes burgers" let's you know two things: 1) This place is unpretentious and 2) They have damn good burgers. Both of these things are true. With 9 burgers made from patties that are formed and seasoned in-house there is one for you. If not, there's a few other options. Great beer selection. Relaxed and friendly vibe. This is the best gem in the Cold Spring crown.

Happened upon by accident. Didn’t have outdoor seating, but they had hamburgers, which my son loves! We both got the Doug’s Pretty Good Burger, plain w just lettuce and tomato added. It’s probably been said a million times, but it was pretty good! The food was fresh and hot when served and the bun was an English muffin. Would recommend and return!
