Flavour Kitchen & Wine Bar

A must try in Coco beach! Phenomenal food, great wine, and a vibrant modern atmosphere with low lighting. My fiancé, mom, and I started with their lobster cake and mac & cheese, both of which were incredible (we were too hungry I forgot to take pictures)! We happened to walk in on a Wednesday when they have their half off wine bottles. My mom and I enjoyed their Kumeu Village Chardonnay (2021) Kumeu/Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. All of our entrees were delicious! We went during a slower time during the day and had the pleasure of talking to the only chef working who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The carrot cake fritters and blueberry bread pudding (?) one of their specials were not to our liking but their other desserts look delicious. The appetizers and entrees were a beautiful pairing of flavors and I picked the Chardonnay to complement the mild cheesy, pasta, and seafood dishes. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu and drinks!

The owner, a bundle of energy and warmth, personally welcomed us, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu, a delightful journey of innovative dishes, didn't just tantalize our taste buds but also narrated a story of culinary expertise. Each dish we tried was a masterpiece, blending traditional and modern flavors seamlessly. The chef's special, a fusion of local ingredients and exotic spices, was particularly noteworthy. What truly set Flavour apart was the owner's infectious enthusiasm. His passion for food and hospitality was evident in every interaction. He checked on us multiple times, not just to ensure our satisfaction but also to share interesting anecdotes about the dishes and the restaurant's journey. The ambiance of the restaurant complemented the exceptional food. The décor was tasteful and elegant, yet had a touch of playfulness that echoed the owner's personality. The background music, carefully selected, added to the overall delightful experience. Service was impeccable. The staff, following the owner's lead, were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They made great recommendations and were quick to accommodate our requests. Flavour is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary adventure led by a charismatic and passionate owner. It's a place where food meets art and where each guest is treated like family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience. We'll definitely be returning soon!

The music was really loud, I could barely hear the server. Overall, definitely a 5*. We opted for a few drinks and small plates. The smoked salmon is a MUST try! The combo is devine! Tuna tartar a close second. A smidge of spicy but tolerable and complements the other flavors. The meatballs and bread were delicious! Since it was my birthday, we got a blue berry pie. The crust, crumble, and caramel were AMAZING!

Wow! Came to CB as we do occasionally to witness launches. We were lucky enough to find this eatery that was insanely good. Small plates and full dinners, full bar and great wine list. It was very hard to choose from all the options on their menu. The chef and staff were super friendly as well. We are going back again before we go home. Don’t miss this one!
