Passing through Cocoa Beach and after researching where to grab dinner, we picked The Tiny Turtle because of the menu & reviews. All we can say is WOW! Phenomenal food, great atmosphere, fair prices, perfect service. I’m not kidding, the food is fantastic (extremely flavorful). Do not miss this place if you are in the area! The turtle team is doing something right! Thanks for a fantastic dinner!

The food was EXCELLENT! If you haven't been, I would HIGHLY recommend the beef empanadas as an appetizer and the surf and the sofrito bowl. Will definitely be back!

We loved Tiny Turtle!! Grace greeted us immediately and there was plenty of seating. Our order was taken, and Grace gave us great expectations on plate sizes as well as what some favorite must try dishes were! We had the sofrito bowl and the tripleta sandwich. AMAZING!!! We cleaned the plates. Don’t sleep on this great restaurant when in Cocoa Beach!

We visited three years ago and couldn't remember when it was suggested to us, but I'm glad we decided to try again. Two of us had the Sofrito Bowl with pork, which was fantastic. One of us had the Tripleta Sandwich, and he loved it, especially the fried plantain. The last one had the pork sliders. All the dishes were great, HOWEVER, do not sleep on the drinks. The Holy Mo (Spicy Margarita) is freaking fantastic. We've had margaritas in plenty of places as that's my husband's drink of choice, and this one should be in bold with exclaimation marks and bright colors and all. I had the Pina Colada, and it was great, just not compared to the Holy Mo. The service is also great, and I love that they carry local crafts in the front of the store for people to buy. Locals supporting locals - support this one.

The Tiny Turtle, 249 Minutemen Cswy., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 5 Stars ***New #1 Best Breakfast*** Glancing at my random name generator I experienced two thoughts almost simultaneously. Firstly, I have had so many bad meals in Cocoa Beach that every time a place there pops up I have to squash my rising anxiety and secondly, I have been there so many times the route is as familiar to my vehicle as the Auto Da Fe to an avid Aussie mountain climber. I know I have a better than 80% chance of eating bad food. Add to that dealing with the traffic, a new teen driver learning to drive and having to parallel park for the first time and I was in such a mental state of mind, I was just looking for a Swill Alert. Shame on me. After what seemed like a lifetime in the parking lot pulling off that initiatory parallel parking maneuver, we entered the Tiny Turtle where I was greeted warmly by Jone'e who sedately twirled her hand Ala Vanna White and said, “Sit anywhere it pleases you.” Her delicate, melodic voice and enchanting smile soothed the savage beast within and I decided to order. I put in a request for the Wake Up Burrito, a Beef & Cheese Empanada and Bacon Mac Daddy Cakes. Say what? Are you kidding me? Bacon, Mac & Cheese in a pancake? I'm in. The Wake Up Burrito is a foodies paradise consisting of scrambled eggs, potato hash, fresh guacamole, freshly roasted tomatillo sauce, crème caribe and your choice of bacon, sausage, chorizo, ham, roasted island pork, island chicken, beef picadillo or veggie as your protein. I went with the chorizo and was not disappointed. One bite and my taste buds were not only awake but eagerly paying attention to the next bite. The Beef & Cheese Empanada was also exquisitely prepared and paired with freshly made crème caribe and a roasted tomatillo dipping sauce. The insides were just as delicious as the outside which was cooked to perfection. The place had it going on. Moving on to the pièce de résistance, the Bacon Mac Daddy Cakes. One bite of two huge freshly grilled johnny cakes stuffed with homemade mac & Cheese and then topped with whipped cream, maple syrup and two slices of meat candy and I knew I had found the new #1 Breakfast Place. Everything was fantastic, filling, fresh and made by someone who obviously cares about what comes out of their kitchen. Congratulations to The Tiny Turtle and their entire staff for displacing the 4-year reigning champ of Best Breakfast in Brevard! The Big Boy says, “Go. Go early, go often, just go go go to The Tiny Turtle.”

We stopped in to hear Honey Miller play and have a drink. Parking in Cocoa Beach is always difficult but we found a spot with a 90 minute limit. There is a comfortable tiki out back where the music was. They have lots of menu items including breakfast brunch and lunch brunch. We got the skewers appetizer. We chose one chicken and one pork. The meat was delicious on its own but it came with dip. Service seemed a bit scattered.

The Tiny Turtle has a great atmosphere. The decor and paintings are beautiful. I enjoyed the outdoor eating area. Very kid friendly. Also, very dog friendly. Our waitress was top-tier and delightful. The presentation of the food was great. The selection of drinks are very wide. The food itself was okay. It lacked flavor. I got the Cuban sandwich and it was okay. All in all, I enjoyed my time and think most people would enjoy this restaurant.

Our server recommended the sofrito bowl, which my wife and I both got. It was delicious and the food arrived rather quickly. I got the surf and turf version, and chose chicken and shrimp. The shrimp were really good but the chicken was slightly dry. The only negative thing about our experience was that we sat for quite a few minutes after seating without being addressed.

Super delicious Caribbean restaurant! Cool Island ambiance. Food was extremely tasty!! We enjoyed the beef with cheese and chicken with cheese empanadas, chicken tacos, beef quesadilla, and chicken nachos. All amazing and full of flavor. Dee Dee and staff were super efficient and friendly. Will be a new regular spot for my family while visiting the area. Outside and issue seating, as well as bar.
