Went for lunch today (sat) with my husband around 12:45pm. The place was about 3/4 full, hostess attended to us right away and got us a table! Super waitress Leah greeted us and brought waters. Menu is huge, and my DH was thrilled with the burger menu! I ordered the blackened shrimp burrito bowl, and he had the mushroom Swiss burger with Onion Rings. Food came out quick and was so beautiful! Burger was M/R as ordered and my shrimp was mounding over the bowl! Food was delish, and we will be back! Leah did a great job, and was fun! Welcome to Cocoa Beach, we now have a great go to place when friends want to go out as well! Bravo!!
Great selection of draft beers and wine, I had a Tito's mule and it was excellent! The burgers never disappoint, cooked perfect and full of flavor. Server was friendly and attentive! Will be back soon

Seeking an outstanding burger, Coasters was highly recommended. I ordered the Classic Cheese Burger and my friend ordered the Exotic Burger which was Wagyu beef. My burger may have been a little undercooked but that doesn’t typically bother me. The patty was really thick so those are usually pretty difficult to cook. It was a great burger but difficult to eat being so thick. The tots were fresh n crispy. My friend got his burger cooked well done so hard to tell how good it was but he liked it. Service was quick and knowledgeable.
Went for the Oktoberfest menu. Had the sauerbraten which came with the choice of two sides. Chose the housemade red cabbage and German potato salad. The sauerbraten was covered by a thick gravy. It was good , but not hreat. German potato salad was made with very thinly sliced potatoes and bacon. Red cabbage had a lot more vinegar then I am used to! Grandson devoured his cheeseburger and rice/beans side dish. He appreciated that the burger was tasty and not greasy.
First visit here and we were definitely impressed. The drinks were great and they didn’t skimp on the ingredients. My husband was thrilled with the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque which he said was very tasty. We were told the soups are home made. My salad was delicious and I couldn’t believe the generous portion of shrimp. The pineapple salsa was very tasty and nicely seasoned. I enjoyed every bite. Will definitely return when in the area again.
By far the best restaurant EVER! Not only do they have 2 different fryers for shellfish allergies but the food is the absolutely amazing! Gavin is the BEST server, make sure you ask for him. You will not be disappointed!
Good food. Ordered truffle fries as appetizer. French dip, mushroom burger, build a burger. Service was a little slow, but food was hot and fresh. Wait staff and host were very courteous. (We ate some truffle fries before I remembered to take a picture!)
Just amazing place. Staff is friendly, food is out of this world. The craft cola so good.
Coasters Taphouse, 5675 North Atlantic Avenue, #122, Cocoa Beach, Florida - 4-Stars
The Big Boy is back on the grind in 2023. My first stop led me to Cocoa Beach, the home of tourist clip joints and sub-par food. The only restaurant I had ever given high marks to in this spring break wasteland went out of business during the pandemic. Tragic. Although I am an non-believer, a restaurant with excellent food, atmosphere, and service is holy to me. A brilliantly-executed dining establishment is my halidom. It is where I go to worship.
At Coasters Taphouse, our waiter came out of the gate awesome and stayed there. Zane is now on my Top 5 Brevard Service List.
The menu looked interesting and the food came out beautiful. Check out the pictures of the food and menu. If any of this seems familiar to my South Brevard beachside followers, it is because the popular Coasters Pub & Biergarten on Eau Gallie Boulevard in Indian Harbour Beach is under the same ownership.
From the top of that day's Taphouse Food Specials menu, I ordered the Shrimp Dip, described as a sultry, homemade shrimp dip with chopped jumbo shrimp meat, tossed with sautéed veggies & sherry, folded-in cream cheese & baked with shredded cheddar-jack and served with warm pita. If that description didn't make your mouth water, see your dentist. The texture and flavors were executed flawlessly. The pita triangles were warm and soft. Mmm mmm good.
Also from the food specials menu was the Coasters Club! When I saw this sandwich, it took me back to the 1980's and Hubbs Pub. Slow-roasted and sliced turkey breast, house-made pastrami, homemade coleslaw and thousand island dressing slapped within triple decker marbled rye. It came with a side and I chose broccoli. Yes, the Big Boy eats his vegetables too.
The Elk Burger was the Taphouse's Exotic Burger of the Day. A half pound of elk meat chargrilled to perfection, topped with melted cheddar and beautiful slices of pickle, onion, lettuce and tomato, with a side of fries. Because elk is leaner than beef, I did notice the gamey nature of the meat. However, it was executed flawlessly. Big, thick and flavorful.
The Big Boy says, "The rest of the food in Cocoa Beach pretty much sucks. At least Coasters Taphouse is here
Excellent late lunch! Thank you Michelle for taking care of us. Started with a flight of draft brews, kids had corn dog and fried Mac and cheese, I had the Georgia fried chicken sandwich, and my wife had the soft shell crab BLT special.... Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! Excellent!
Throughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, and the food.
Update: Finally made it back and still fantastic. First time had a Reuben. Went for the gourmet burger of the day thing they have. Was Bison. And was absolutely fantastic. And the sweet potato fries are wonderful.
The Buffalo cauliflower is tasty.
I will definitely be returning as I saw some stuff on the menu that has peaked my interest! The choice of brew and tap are excellent! Price is reasonable and staff was joyous and attentive
