Friendly staff, great sandwiches and ice cream. We had the Reuben and Cuban Panini and will be back for more. Also the Thanksgiving sandwich was excellent.
Food was alright despite part of the reuben being cold. However $14 for a reuben is way too expensive.
I know my review says 4 stars but I really wanted to give it 3.5. The food was not bad at all, I got a pastrami/ corned beef sandwich and my wife got a reuben. It came with hand-cut fries and a pickle. They were each $12 however. They were delicious, but were a little dry and the meat was not enough quantity. We waited just a touch too long for the server to bring our food as well. The atmosphere was charming and I especially liked the board games sitting in the corner and the staff was very friendly. If we come back and that decision is maybe 50/50 we will perhaps be more discerning on our choices based upon price. With drinks our meal came to $30 for two of us and that's just a bit too high for what we got in return.
We stumbled into this place trying to dodge a one hour wait for a table in the nearby shops. We were happy we did. The staff was very friendly. The environment was relaxed and comfortable. The food was amazing... yummy piled high sandwiches, homemade chips, and other treats. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area again.
Food was good. Mostly sandwich menu & breakfast items available all day. Also ice cream & desserts.
I had the pimento grilled cheese & my companion has the turkey club. Comes with one side item (menu doesn't state this).
You seat yourself & go to the register to order. We had never been there before so we came in & sat down. We were stared at by the staff until I asked for a menu. We were given a menu & instructed to go to the register to place the order.
Also, after I ordered at the register I saw a white board which had specials for that day. No one advised us of these, so ask if you want to know.
The food was better than average for this area, the price is what you would be charged for this area, but the hospitality isn't that great.
I would go back again if in the area.
Cook was very friendly and accommodated my funny omelet request. He even came out to make sure we liked our meal. I’m dairy free and had a build your own omelet without cheese. It was huge, couldn’t finish it all. And it was great!
The owner is great! Ice cream is incredible! I was quite surprised at the cost of 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream in a cup (no cone). Other than the price.....5 stars. I loved that they have a list of potential allergens for every single ice cream. I have a bad nut allergy. ....now I know where to go so that I don't have to ask the person behind the counter what flavors don't have nuts (you can't always tell by the name)
We've been looking for a really good place for a relaxing breakfast on the SC beach coast and we finally found one! Based on the name, you would have no idea it served breakfast but it was delicious and the owner and all the workers were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Food was prepared quickly and served promptly. A great little place for a wonderful breakfast!
Awesome place. Super friendly staff. The owner, Beth welcomed us and was VERY entertaining. Her sarcastic wit had us laughing. The food was great, too! We will definitely be back!!!
Homemade chips, thick and delicious Reubens. My daughter LOVED the corn dog!! But the service was the best part. Sweet people. Best place on the island we have had!!
