Palmetto Dunes General Store

Where locals grab their breakfast! There's a small hot deli in the back corner where every morning there's a line for traditional breakfast options. There are breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bacon, sausage, donuts, cinnamon rolls, grits, and hash browns. Bacon was great. Sausage was nice and had a little spicy kick. Hashbrowns don't hold up well under heat lamps, so I'd only recommend if you get there early. For a pricey resort area, the breakfast foods here are actually a good price and value. There are benches on the porch where everyone sits and eats.

We just spent a week vacationing in Palmetto Dunes and this little general store packs a big punch. Aside from offering hot meals, this store has everything you need to spend a week at the beach. Toys, sunscreens, t-shirts, hats, flip flops, snacks, souvenirs, etc. It is incredibly convenient to everyone staying in Palmetto Dunes and makes for a great place to sit and watch pickleball with a cup of coffee, etc. I highly recommend checking it out.

When staying at Palmetto dunes the General Store is your best friend.. if you need breakfast, or milk, candy to kitchen staples, a new shirt or a cold ice cream they got it.. employees are kind and helpful AND you can bring your dog in!

Great staff and has pretty much everything you may need. The deli serves very good food. There is a microwave that customers can use. Came in very handy for us considering Marriott doesn't have any microwave in the whole property. Tad bit pricey.

This joint might have everything you need for your beach vacation, but lemme tell ya, they're pickin' your pockets like a bunch of slick con artists! You walk in, thinkin' you hit the jackpot with all the convenience they're offerin'. It's like they're flashin' their wares, temptin' you like a siren call. But once you see the price tags, you feel like you're in a high-stakes poker game with no good cards to play. I mean, fuhgettaboutit! They're chargin' prices like they're the exclusive suppliers to the Corleone family. It's like they got a direct line to the black market for beach gear or somethin'. You'd think they were sellin' you designer suits instead of beach towels! You wanna grab a cold drink to beat the heat? That'll be a Benjamin, my friend. You could probably get a whole truckload of drinks from a street vendor for the same price. It's like they got their own little racket goin' on. And the beach toys? Don't even get me started! They're chargin' you more than what it costs to make a snazzy Italian sports car! It's like they're runnin' a numbers game and they're always winnin'. I don't know how they do it, but they got folks comin' in like moths to a flame, droppin' bundles of cash like they're made of fettuccine alfredo. It's like they got some kinda secret formula, like the recipe for nonna's famous meatballs, to make people part with their money without flinchin'. Now, don't get me wrong, the place is convenient. It's like havin' a safe house right on the beach. You forget your sunscreen? No problem! They got you covered, for a price, of course. It's like they got their own version of the Godfather's protection racket goin'. So, if you got money to burn and don't mind payin' top dollar for beach essentials, go ahead, knock yourself out. But for the rest of us, I'd say take a walk on the boardwalk and find a more reasonable deal. There's plenty of other spots that won't leave you feelin' like you just got a hit on your bank account. In the end, the General Store might have everything you need, but they're chargin' you like you're buyin' the Brooklyn Bridge. Save your cash for some real Italian cuisine and avoid this overpriced joint like it's a rival mob territory. Capisce?
