What a delight the newly renovated Black Marlin Bayside Grill is. We had a wonderful mid-week lunch at the inside bar with a very friendly professional female bar tender. The crowd was light all locals. Their new comfortable bar stools and table furniture was gorgeous and goid quality. The new decor is coastal with a gorgeous live edge wood bar top. Our two lunch special combos were hot and delicious. Our cocktails and craft beers were tasty. We will definitely go back for dinner and live music. Well done Black Marlin gorgeous views and decor.

Food was good. Lots of parking - but there is another restaurant next door, so it may get busy. Take out available - can order online or call.

We got the early evening bargain I ordered the salmon dinner with rice and black beans. It was delicious. My wife got the pecan cod which came again with rice and black beans. Only issue was there were no pecans anywhere to be found. Very odd. She said it was ok, but no pecan taste. All early dinners come with a very nice salad and a large soft drink. We sat outside which was nice. They do have an indoor area too. Lots of staff to help with ordering and cleaning the tables.

Just had dinner here tonight with my family and we had the most enjoyable experience with our server Lindsey!! She is so sweet and kind. Stayed on top of everything. Highly recommend requesting her when you go to dinner!! :)

Seafood spot w bunch of fans for outdoor seating. There’s like 3 restaurants in 1 so there’s a lot of commotion and people walking around. Bread bangs had to get 2 orders. Scallops were good but the trio was mids. Would return !

Waiter was so nice and great with kids. Couldn’t decide what I wanted on the menu because everything looked good. Will definitely come again.

We came in 10 minutes early and were seated right away. Service was lightning fast, we finished our food within 25 minutes of being seated. Needless to say that everything was delicious. We ordered a provencal style grouper and a half pound of local peel & eat shrimp. The hurricane drink was so good that I had to order another one for dessert! I'd like to highlight the service here, the manager visited us several times during our time here and I noticed him checking with our server as well to make sure we were satisfied. The server as well was very friendly and made sure we wanted for nothing. Had a great time and recommend highly! # Seafood # South Carolina # Hilton Head Island

We went on vacation to South Carolina Hilton head. The guy at the front desk of my hotel recommended this restaurant and we tried it out. We were pleasantly surprised- I ordered the lobster tacos and my husband ordered the flounder. The food was very good and the service was great the atmosphere is laid-back and chill. Highly recommend if you’re from out of town looking for great seafood!

Great place to dine and relax. We've been coming here for years. Always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This time I had the Crab Cake sandwich. The menu describes it as Lump Crab Meat. Time to update the menu! It isn't Lump Crab Meat! I'm from Maryland and we know what Lump Crab Meat looks like. Sorry but I've got to be honest. But don't get me wrong. The sandwich was still good. My wife had the Bayside Chowder and was extremely satisfied. She also had a Shrimp Taco and seemed to really enjoy it too. The southern sweet tea is also good 👍. As for the atmosphere, I prefer sitting outside on the patio which we did. Was a gorgeous day so couldn't pass it up. First time seeing the newly renovated inside and it's nice and spacious. The new bar is awesome. I am disappointed because it lost its coziness which some of the old seating had. I can imagine on a very busy time the noise level must be a little overwhelming now.
