Chipotle Mexican Grill

This was a takeout order and my first time at the restaurant. The food was OK (I had a chicken burrito). When I arrived there was a line. After waiting, I got to the register and inquired about my order, the staff member pointed to the far end of the counter so I went there expecting to be served. After waiting 5 minutes (nobody came or told me where my order might be), I turned around and found that all the orders for takeout were on a shelf behind me and I could just take my order and leave. I took my order and left but wondered what would have happened if my order had been taken by someone else. The staff member could have been more specific and told me it was self-serve but I guess they preferred to let me wait for no reason. They were busy, but seeing a customer by himself at the end of the counter for so long, they could have asked if there was anything wrong.

Please do visit this location if you want to wait an extra hour for your order, have items missing, have a completely wrong order, and/or you love the taste of BUGS IN YOUR FOOD. Also, there is no reason that in 07/2021 you should only be allowed to order online. This place has gone down the drain in the past year/2 years.

Had given this chipotle bad reviews in the past, for terrible service and undercooked inedible food. I went today thinking maybe by now they could have upped their game. Come to find out, only by a very little. When goin to this chipotle, it’s a success when you don’t almost swallow an avocado sticker or bite into an avocado stem. The rice has always been under cooked, and today the rice was definitely under cooked. Also, I couldn’t bring self to get the sofritas, it looked horrible! And after eating my bowl, it was overall much saltier than your average chipotle. I’ve always had something go wrong when I go here or get let down by one of my favorites. I’ve been hearing around town and lots of people have similar feelings. I hope you guys fix this.
