Chuckwagon Vittles

We were visiting the area and stopped by for supper. The food was delicious and Shawn was very helpful and made sure to double check our large order was correct after bringing ever out to us. Some of our favorites were the corn nuggets, brisket, fried okra and sausage. This was our children’s first time having Texas BBQ and it didn’t disappoint!!

The food at this restaurant is so delicious! Its taste, texture, looks, yummmmmmmmmmmmmy, so good! This place has a family feel to it. Its style is traditional and not overdone. I could sleep here. The staff is so personable, nice, and they have a sense of humor, the good kind of humor. if there is a problem they will address it right away.

Very good food. Very polite service. The regular sized sandwich is almost as big as a plate; better get the small sandwich if you're not a big eater. The brown beans are very good; they are not bland and they were hot. The pulled pork is very good. The sweet tea is good sweet tea. In fact, that sweet tea may be the best in town. They are open for in-house dining. They do ask you to wear a mask and social distancing is practiced in the dining area. They also have a curbside service. Single hole bathroom that is clean. This place has it altogether. Y'all come.

WOW!! Talk about GREAT bbq! I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed bbq as much as I have at Bunkhouse! Their brisket is so tender and full of flavor! Had it with a side of baked potato that was delicious! Finished with a side of Rick’s cheesecake for dessert….literally the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!!! You HAVE to check our bunkhouse if you’re ever close to Clifton!
