It's a fine Jewish deli, but there are others on the east side I like better. The smoked fish products and the corned beef are excellent, but the soups are so-so. The smoked tongue is definitely good, but I've had better. The knishes are foul, and I've even tried them several times just to make sure it wasn't some sort of accident. But if you're in the immediate vicinity and want a quick and quiet lunch or dinner and don't want to brave Chagrin traffic any more than you have to, Corky's is fine; there's always something to eat there as long as you're selective.
Authentic corn beef hash with poached eggs excellent. Recommend the chicken matzoh ball soup the dumpling is so fine and still floating with real chicken clear broth soup. Service is excellent
Best corned beef hash I've had in a very long time. It was seasoned very well and the poached eggs added that yummy eggy-ness I was looking for. Prompt and quick service for breakfast even with a flight to catch.
Very good food... Made the way grandma made it.
The corned beef and escrambled egg sandwich is very good. The eggs are perfectly scrambled, not overcooked. The corned beef is so flavorful. This is a great sandwich. The kaiser roll has a great crunch to it, not heavy or gummy.
Great food. I had a wonderful lunch of beef brisket sandwich and gravy. If you are looking for a meal to fill you up this is the place! Great service, prices and atmosphere. I will be going back!
Great Sandwiches, Hefty Price. We've eaten here for a long time. I always felt that the corned beef was good. Especially the corned beef on potato pancakes. Another favorite is half tongue, half liver pate on rye with horseradish. Good stuff. Just know in advance that it's not the cheapest place in town.
Atmosphere is fun. My husband and I love the big corn beef sandwiches but have also enjoyed amazing breakfast and desserts. Definitely a must see or taste if you live in the area or even if your just visiting. It's been around forever and still has it!
A great Jewish deli that I have frequented for the past 35-40years. Excellent deli food. Vienna corned beef. The semi rancid cloudy mystery brined pickle and tomato bowl is gone!(thank God!) A fairly recent remodeling job about 12 years ago, designed by Herschman and built out by Nyman Construction is first rate. The servers are still classic Corkys: You get your food when they're ready to give it to you. lol I love this place!
Best Jewish deli this side of the Atlantic!
Corky and Lenny’s is an amazing deli and I love the corned beef! My melt was on Challah and grilled with warm corned beef and Muenster cheese Delicious! Served with a side of excellent coleslaw. I had to have a potato pancake too. Server Susan was friendly and efficient! If I lived here I would eat here every week!
Very much a classic Jewish deli. Made my heart happy to stand at the deli counter and enjoy the atmosphere. Such an amazing dinner, highly recommend the Beef (brisket) & Potatoes (latkes).
I stopped here for lunch at 1:00 pm and I was seated right away and given a menu. My server came right over and took my drink order, and I also placed my order. I ordered a Hot Turkey Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes and gravy.
After a couple of minutes, he brought me my lunch. I looked so good. The turkey was sliced thin and there was a lot of meat. The turkey was super tender and moist. Everything was smothered in warm brown gravy. The mashed potatoes were creamy, but you could tell it was homemade, because of very small lumps, it was very good.
This is my favorite place to eat when I am in town, and I was so happy to be able to eat here before I left. I would say this is the best hot turkey sandwich I have ever had, everything about it was good and filling. If you like open faced sandwiches, please try this one and let me know what you think.
I will definitely be back.
This is the quintessential deli! Located in a strip center in Beachwood with good parking. I had kreplach soup and a julienne salad, which I asked for chopped and tossed. Everything was to die for! Granted, I’m a deli fiend, but this was Deli Nirvana!😊
It was a pleasure to visit this cafe😋, pleasant atmosphere and caring staff👌
I grew up in New York city in the 60’s and 70’s when there were lots of Jewish delis. My go to was (and is) Liebmans in the Bronx. I’ve never had better. Lennys comes close. The pastrami was really good. The corn beef was shaved which is not my style but it was good. The pastries are delicious. The lox was great. The bagels aren’t New York quality but still very good. All delis are pricey but you do get a lot of food. You can easily feed two people from one sandwich. I will go back next time I go to Cleveland.
Had the Ruben nice grill in bread pastrami was good as well as the potato salad and flavorful cabbage soup was delicious the eclair was a delightful way to finish the meal
Enjoyed the challah corned beef sandwich and the stuffed cabbage and my son had the beef and latkes. Everything was delicious. You can’t order online so there may be a wait when you call to order over the phone. The desserts are amazing. Also a huge drink selection for takeout. Very busy after 3pm.
My blood pressure medication had me a lil loopy this morning but everyone was so helpful and nice to me. I really appreciate great service so thank you. The cheesecake is heavenly.
The best Jewish Deli outside of NYC. In a strip mall, so not the greatest atmosphere. The servers were great but definitely super busy.
