Lamb in baked buns are so delicious! The beef chili pot is also very flavorful. This is definitely a nice place to hang out with friends!
This is a great restaurant for a quick bite to eat. They have a tasty menu with varying degrees of spiciness. There is also a stellar happy hour menu, and there is usually a $1 draft beer on special every month. Located right on Euclid Avenue in University Circle, Nüjoy is accessible by foot, and close to parking.

Food is great. The vegetarian options are pretty good. It is a different take on Chinese food . The flavors are rich and different than any other Chinese restaurant I have tried. I tried the veggie chili pot and the schezwan cold noodles. Both delicious and rich with flavors. Oh and the hongkong bubble tea with crown was excellent.
The restaurant occupies the space that Ninja City used to and it's confusing to find the entrance. The signage from the street is also lacking and there is a tree in front the restaurant which makes it hard to see from the street.
Once you get inside you'll find a big bar with a few high top tables and larger sit down section in the rear. They have a few beers on tap and an assortment of liquor. The food is really good and affordable. I would recommend you try any of the Szechuan chili pots or the fried dumplings.
Parking can be challenging, especially during rush hour or around noon. This is a good spot for a solo traveler looking for a quick bite to eat in University Circle as you can take a spot at the bar and catch a sports game while enjoying some good Chinese food. They also offer takeout.

Excellent food! I am a vegetarian and I had wonderful options:). Hongkong bubble tea with cheese crown is awesome. Cold noodles and veg chili pot was amazing! Wish there were veggie bao’s!
Nüjoy is a decent choice for Chinese food in the University Circle area. I've not had a bad dish there and some have even surprised me by how good they were. The servers are friendly.
I am a Chinese food maven. Having eaten it over at least half the globe I search for Chinese restaurants anywhere I travel - and compare to what I consider the best. NuJoy is good but not the best
I had the Chicken Kabab as an appetizer. Here is where NuJoy fell down. Dry and somewhat tasteless. Have had much better, but they were in Middle Eastern Restaurants. A Kabab is not really a Chinese appetizer.
Next came Chicken in Sichuan chili hot pot. Great! Close second to my favorite from restaurants in China, Seattle, Vancouver, and Toronto. Thin sliced succulent chicken, same with the vegetables. Good numb spice throughout but not hot enough overall spice wise. Probably my fault for not ordering it that way. The Kabab brought the review to 3, the hot pot to 4.
Obviously, this restaurant is well known by local Asian students. They packed the place while I was there. The Bao's seemed to be their choice and I will try those when I come back.
Great place with great food. Authentic beef noodles.
Updated their menu two weeks ago for their "official opening", and everything on there that I've been able to try has been incredible. 100% worth giving a shot for some of the best Asian food in the area
