I moved out of Cleveland 3 years ago, and the only food that I truly miss regularly and have not found a replacement for where I live now is Kifaya’s Kitchen. The food is homemade with care, the meat is tender, and everything is seasoned perfectly. The price that you pay gets you a huge quantity. I got to go again when I visited 6 months ago. It was a cold Cleveland winter day and a steaming plate of Somali food from Kifaya’s was the absolute best thing. Can’t wait to go again.

This one of the best Somali food i ever had in America, this place is a must be if you are in Cleveland area. The goat 🐐 meat, the spaghetti, the soup and dont even mention the salad everything was delicious. The owner was in the kitchen and the hospitality we received was extraordinary. Thank you and we will be back each time we are passing through.

November 2021: I am a self proclaimed foodie adventurer. I will try almost anything. A coworker had suggested this place to me and had piqued my curiosity enough to sample things for myself. I ordered the kay kay with goat meat and shai tea, which was very good. The kay kay is like taking an unleavened bread similar to naan and cutting it up and frying it with the meat and vegetables in a wok-like skillet. The result is that the bread complements the meal and provides a sort of a noodle like taste and texture. Pros: * Small business with a more personalized feel. * You will meet Miss Kifaya and taste authentic East Afrikan cuisine. She is the chef and a danged good one too! * Prices are okay, but worth it for the flavor and spices...I have never been to the continent, but have tasted many Afrikan cuisines...Kifaya is on par with what my Somali friends have introduced me to. * The restaurant accepts cash and all major credit cards. * People can call place to go orders. Cons: * The restaurant interior is somewhat small. * The location is easy to miss without Google maps or GPS directions. It is nestled in a corner of an older convenient plaza. The business that was previous next to Kifaya is closed and gives off an unoccupied vibe for the entire plaza. Conclusion: I am not the Terminator, but "I'll be back"...

This was a small little place without heat so I was freezing eating my meal, nothing fancy. However the food is amazing. Great flavor, great portion, great price. Samosas made to order, tea was piping hot and delicious. I had the chicken my husband had the goat and they were both very good. That's why I give 4 not 5 stars

Amazing food, awesome atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff. Kifaya’s Kitchen is truly one of Cleveland’s hidden gems filled with culture, great service, and food that is made with love from the heart... Also this is a East African restaurant that also does some Arabic & Mediterranean food in a little different Somalian Style. If you are not of fan of any of the food I just mentioned or you never have tried it, that’s okay; a lot of people I have taken here felt the same way but once they realized that Kifaya’s Kitchen seems to have this Magic that makes almost everyone that gives Kifaya’s a chance have an unforgettable delicious sensation that will leave them with an amazing experience... “Even if all you eat is something different I’d still give it a try because you will never know what you missed...” Also they have good pricing for the quality & amount of food they offer. Cleveland is full of smaller unique diners that all have their ups & downs, but if I were to vote Kifaya’s Kitchen would take the number one spot... Please don’t take my word for it, go experience it for yourself. Summary Conclusion: I Truly have tried almost every restaurant in Cleveland and no one has ever made me feel as satisfied where I leave feeling happy... Go try it, you don’t know what you’re missing... P.S. “ I highly recommend the Somalian Chi Tea, especially with milk; this warm tea is so amazing I Never have had anything so good even when I went out of town and tried other Somalian Chi Tea, they had nothing on how amazing Kifaya’s Chi Tea Tasted...

Just went there for lunch with a coworker and we had the most delicious goat. Very tender, well seasoned without being overpowering. Very kind woman. No, there is not a lot of seating and the tables are old, but I appreciate the well-priced food and generous portions over fine dining tables. Worth a try if you are in the area!

I just walked out of the restaurant, I am mind blown. The goat was amazing, so tender and juicy. Yes the place is a little grimy, but it feels like home, smells like home. It does not feel like a sterilized business, rather it feels like mom’s cooking dinner. Very reasonable price and huge portions. We got the goat with rice and the goat with pasta, both were great. So glad to have found this gem in Cleveland

I really recommend you to try thier food so I m sure you will go again again with your family and friends .. and they have milk tea mango juice, and other cool and hot drink .. enjoy your self by your testing . 5 Stars ..
