Heaven. This the best sub shoppe in the world. I love their turkey ridge! Every time I come back to Cleveland this is the 1st thing on my to do list. If I'm in town for a week we eat there @ least four times. I'm having a girl friend & her husband to get four and pack on dry ice to bring to my family in Bham. Hey do ya'll have franchise information???
Great Food, Affordable!!. Grum's is an awesome place to grab a bite, try their grumsteer roast beef. You will never go to subway or jimmy johns again.
Awesome quick dinner. My boyfriend and I eat here about once a week. If we don't feel like cooking we usually grab a sub. Much better than fast food and it's delicious!
Grum Shop has been a staple in my family since I was little. It’s always been my favorite sub shop. Although over the years, the subs have gotten smaller and it seems like it’s less meat but despite that, they’ve always been good.
Been going here for over 30 years nothing changes but the staff I've had the entire menu & I can't pick just one favorite everything is good! When you say Coventry how can you not think of Grums!
I've been going since my childhood days. The sandwiches are still amazing, and the service is great. Sandwiches are better than any subway Jimmy John's or the rest.
It’s legit. I went here quite a bit back when I was in college. The hot grumsteer was the sandwich of choice back then, and those sandwiches were both huge and delicious.
The subs here were delicious! Very generous portions at a very inexpensive price. My only gripe was the whole pickle was quartered and not actually whole.
So my friend and I have been going to Grums, a sub shop on Coventry Road, for 37 years now. In fact, when I got my driver's license at 16, my first solo trip was to take Tony and my friend Stephen to a wonderful store called The Record Exchange on Coventry (about a 35 minute drive). Afterward, we got a footlong sub called a Turkey Ridge: a solid amount of thinly sliced turkey and provolone: lettuce, tomato, and raw onion; and freshly baked Italian bread slathered with mayo and oregano. They are not cheap, but the sub is cut in half and each half is a meal in itself. The Ridge is the best sub I've ever had, and any time we're in the area we buy one to take with us. We tried to get one last week when I took Tony and our friend Dave to the candlelight show at the Mantz, but Grums was closed. So Tony was up in the area visiting a friend yesterday and stopped by to pick up two subs ($30 total). Last night I ate half because, well, it was Grums. Definitely not diet food but so damned good. Just now I ate half of the second portion alongside some healthy homemade coleslaw and half a cantaloupe from my sister-in-law's garden. The whole meal was delicious.
In the early 90's, I lived two blocks away on Lancashire and enjoyed the classic Italian, 'The Grum" on Italian bread and the always reliable "Turkey Ridge" on wheat. Three decades later I return to Cleveland with my kids and order the same sandwiches. The taste and quality are still in tact. The bread is so good! The cold cuts and all the ingredients are market fresh. Once you eat a Grum, you can never go back to eating something from Subway, Quiznos or Jimmy Johns. My only complaint was the two guys making my subs were slow. When I worked there, we had to have all the subs memorized and made under 1 minute. Make no mistake, there is no better tasting and satisfying sub sandwich than Grum's in all of Cuyahoga county. Support your local small businesses and eat real food 😀
Best meatball sub I've ever had. The service is also phenomenal!
Had a great Turkey Ridge foot long sub. The best and we travel there to get this. Keep making the best subs in the world.
I get about 4 a year, always great for 30 yrs. !!! YOU really can't beat it, two meals at least 😋.
