Very good food! Go for the lunch buffet and you'll definitely get enough to eat. Staff is lovely and friendly!

Great choice at buffet menu. Everything delicious. Calm, warming atmosphere and smiling "grandmothers". And everything for just 15$.

Such a delightful, beautifully decorated old world restaurant. The food was amazing especially the potato pancakes, the stuffed cabbage, noodles and meatballs. The cookie platter finished the buffet meal perfectly. Highly recommend this gem of a eatery in Slavic Village. Plus they carry other sweets and meats.

Been going there for years most recently for Sunday Brunch buffet.
This has to be one of Clevelands best kept secrets. The food is excellent. Traditional Polish dishes/choices.
Staff is great.
If you speak Polish you will have others to converse with. If you are thinking of
going I know you will enjoy yourself!

Unbelievable home-cooked food that rivals similar restaurants in Chicago or even Poland. We stopped for the buffet and the food was fresh and delicious. Would recommend Seven Roses to anyone wanting real Polish food. It is definitely worth the drive. We came from Columbus while visiting from Denver. Their selection of Polish meats, chocolates and candy was equally impressive (we spent $200 on it). As Polish as it gets.

Service is very friendly. Lot's of good Polish food home made. Great food to purchase to take out.I love the bakery, Polish candy, and fresh baked breads and they have a restaurant with great Polish food. I buy my Kielbasa fresh and smoked which is also made by the owner.

Authentic with a capital Yay! Excellent home-style Polish cooking and a very fine selection of deli items, eastern European groceries, and fresh bread and pastries. The owner is usually at the front counter and staff are all so warm and kind. They even accommodated a couple of vegetarians! Make sure to grab some fresh cookies to take with you before you leave, because you'll probably be too full to eat them right away but you'll want them later.

Wow. Everything was good. I'm not a fan of cabbage, but the cabbage soup was excellent. I had the best sauerkraut in my life here today. The buffet is $8.99 and it's all you can eat of delicious, fresh food that tastes home cooked.

Amazing food! Great people!

One of the most authentic Polish experiences outside of the home.
I've been dying to find a good Polish restaurant on my "mid-west" travels, and I heard Cleveland is known for its Polish community. So, to the Slavic Village I went.
I was greeted by a lovely lady with a thick Polish accent as soon as I walked in. She took me to the buffet and explained each dish. My mouth started watering when she showed me the Golumpki (guamke)! This was a traditional dish my Grandma used to make. It was just as delicious as my Grandma's, even though it was of their own creation.
I was going to sit by myself, as I was traveling solo, but just like traditional Polish folks do, they invite you to their table like it's some big feast. I was graciously welcomed by a couple of regular customers and indulged in amazing conversation. The table next to me was full of Polish talk. It reminded me of how we ate during my childhood at Grandma's house.
Later during my meal, I was surprised by the owner? a couple of extra dishes to go along with the buffet. She had given me home-made Italian wedding soup and home-made perogies - oh, wow - the best I've ever had!
These "extra" surprise dishes change up on an almost every-day basis. Sometimes they have duck blood soup, borscht, pickle soup, etc.
The front of store has many treats, candies, Polish soup/spice mixes, and other goodies you can take home with you - so be sure to check them out!
The inside and outside of the restaurant were traditionally decorated - even the restaurant sign was in Polish.
This is a more low key restaurant - so, it's not typically too busy or too touristy. It's the real deal. I highly recommend Seven Roses and will be back!

OMG, this is totally unbelievable and very disrespectful to those of us African america folks who have supported this establishment. I dont have never will paint one group of folks by the actions of a few. I've visited this place a few times and found the service to be nice, but there's no way I'd visit the place again. Hopefully you made sure the owner was aware how offensive this statement was? One of my good friends happens to be Polish and i was visiting from Detriot and i was taking him but that's out. Good thing this was not me, but ignorance cannot be tolerated when you see, hear or experience it first hand. Money speaks volume, Happy New Year and follow your instincts and share with everyone and anyone as i will do the same.. Shame on this resturant.Best Regards,Edward,

By far the most awkward prejudice experience i've ever had in my life. Me & my boyfriend went in to get food and the owner came to the front and we asked how she was doing and she went on a rant about how all the black kids moved into the neighborhood and its used to be such a nice polish community now its black kids stealing stuff, breaking windows, and all this other stuff. Basically saying they're ruining the neighborhood and this is all happening because they have multiple fathers and drugs (this last part is verbatim). But were the good black people though. That was super unprofessional especially coming from the owner. I'm black, I'm not about to agree with you stereotyping the ethic group that I am apart of. I just thought that was wrong to generalize an entire group of people and feel so comfortable to express that to customers that want to spend money at your establishment. And if she feels that way about the black community to the point where she doesn't even want us in the neighborhood then you'll never get my business ever again.

What a pleasant place. Four of us had the buffet lunch on a Thursday. This is really an old work place, from the high tin ceilings to the sliding wooden ladders in the grocery section. So there's ambience and then there's not. We started with barley soup. Wonderful flavor, with chunks of potato. Reminded me of the soup my mother used to make. We ate the stuffed cabbage, the sauerkraut (real, homemade stuff not out of a can), spaetzel, and other noodles. We also ordered the potato pancake which is a special order and not part of the buffet. Great taste and right from the frying pan on to the table. it wasn't busy so we just sat and talked and enjoyed the atmosphere. When we paid, the cashier gave us each a Krakus hazlenut wafer bar for our desert. With the tip, I think I paid about $11. A wonderful lunch. We are going back - soon.

Awesome. We went for a brunch/lunch on Sunday after attending St. Stanislaus church. It was a gift for my mother in-law. I had never been there before and did not know what to expect. We were blown away by how beautiful the table was set and how great the food, atmosphere and service was. I would definitly go back! Our family had a great meal and a great time!!!!

Old World Food.. The experience here is a little different. The food is always good, (a mom made at home feel). The service, not what i'm used to but tolorabe, I felt a little like a cross between a customer and a old friend or family grabing a plate to join friends. Would I go back .....Absolutely. Whats for dinner MOM.

The food seems fairly authentic- but, it's like eating in someone's back storeroom, on makeshift tables- wait, it IS the storeroom on makeshift tables! maybe that's how they do it in Poland

Favorite quiet lunch spot. This is a favorite lunch spot of those of us that love Polish fare. The building is antique and the food delightful, full of flavor. I've had sandwiches to go from the deli on home made breads that are melt in your mouth wonderful. While the buffet selection has limited selections (8 entrays, plus soup, salad, bread...) if ones expectations are set right to enjoy this home style spread they will leave well satisfied.

Don't go there!. Went for lunch there today 5/14. Absolutely terrible. Very little food offered in buffet. rigatoni, cabbage & noodles. No stuffed cabbage, no keilbasa, To top it all off, perogies and mixed vegetables were ice cold. When we commented to waitress about it, she said, Oh, we serve those items cold. Who wants to eat COLD mixed vegetables? Complete disappointment!!!
Ethnik Plate
Authentic Polish Food. Seven Roses Deli in Slavic Vilage has great salads, good selection of cold cuts, fresh baked breads, and the best apricot cheesecake on this side of the puddle. Every time I'm in Cleveland, I make a trip to Seven Roses for lunch. Eating their soups feels like home (Warsaw) to me.

In Alex Garland’s “The Beach,” one of the key themes is the idea that, as humans, we’re always looking for virginity. It isn’t in the sexual sense, though – after all, who really wants to sleep with a virgin? It’s meant more in the sense that we’re always
