Wow - what a brilliant find. Our first time to MOJO, and certainly not our last. From the appetizers to the main course, all four of us raved about the taste, texture and quanity of the food. The menu is not extensive, but covers a lot of ground. They even have a private parking lot for your vehicle. Great for vegians and meat eaters alike.
I was pleasantly surprised by my own confusion since the transition from the Mexican themed Lopez restaurant, to this new tapas style World fusion menu that is Mojo.
The plates are smaller like an appetizer size and they suggest two to three plates per person which is great if you love variety like I do.
In addition to all of the flavors that you'll get with the variety of multiple plates, there is a variety of amazing flavors on each plate.
And speaking of plates, the plating and presentations were beautiful. As well as the plates themselves!
The interior seemed to be lacking the cozy comfort that would have completely sealed the deal for me personally, but that's just my opinion. The booths were a little uncomfortable In that They could use just a couple of degrees of decline. We were forced to sit more forward which almost made you kind of want to lean more into the table more than what seemed comfortable.
Our server was great, knowledgeable, super friendly and finished every table exchange with "My pleasure!" Lol.
We had a great time and there was definitely more on the menu that we would like to try.
In the photo, attached are the lamb chops, you get three little guys in your order, along with a lovely arugula salad and two different types of tapenade off to the left side of the plate.
The burger picture in the background was the size of a slider, and the ribs which are in the top right corner that are orange and color you get three of in one order.
So excellent and delicious as always! Service was spot on and cleanliness was an obvious focus of the staff. We’ll be back!
Wish we could’ve tried everything! The food was so creative and delicious, restaurant wasn’t super busy but the service was great!
Delicious unique tastes and flavors. Many vegetarian options. Will become a staple in cedar lee area.
Delicious and unique cuisine, great addition to Lee road!
Was feeling adventurous, saw this place and walked in on a whim. I'm happy to say that my adventurous side knows what it's doing. The atmosphere was intriguing. Eclectic decoration but subtle. The service was quick and friendly, and my server had pictures of some of the food on her phone ready to show me. The drink was at a good strength. The food was phenomenal and as eclectically varied as the decoration. Brisket poutine and they had a special going of fresh seafood udon that came loaded with great flavor and huge chunks of lobster, scallops, and clams on the shell. Have already recommended this place to my friends and I haven't even left my table yet. 10/10 will come back again!
Wonderful experience. Everything is delicious. Great service and knowledgeable staff. Chef made his rounds to the tables to ensure we were happy with our meal and you can tell he takes pride in what he does.
First off , incredible and delicious food. Staff & owner extremely friendly- now back to the food-
I’m here for the second time (yesterday was my first) sat at the bar both times - great cocktail bar - on par with Gigi’s on Fairmont-decent crowd.
Had the oysters, served ice cold , with 2 sauces- both very different and perfect!
They serve small plates ( not too small really) last night had Shrimp & Grits - beautifully done- and grilled lamb chops (3) - very well prepared and presented . Will return - Eastside needs more of this . BTW you must be vaccinated to get in & they have a patio
Our meal and experience tonight at mojo was wonderful. Of the adventurous small plate places we’ve come to love, this meal blows them all away. An amazing gazpacho, a crunchy tofu that I know I’ll be craving all week, delicious scallops over cucumber noodles and blue mussels in a broth that is to die for. I’m kicking myself for not having tried Mojo sooner, especially being a lover and follower of the chefs previous menus. I’ve been in comfort mode lately, sticking to what I know when I’ve chosen to go out. But I’m thrilled to have this place on my comfort radar. Amazing flavors and great service. Very safe and impeccably clean.
