Wow! Hansa brewery is absolutely amazing!!! They have such incredible German food- please try their turkey schnitzel. It is cooked to perfection! Their spaetzles (tiny dumplings) are so unique and out of this world. This place is so clean. Yes, I posted a picture of their restroom to show you how immaculately well kept this place is. They have so much warmth. The owner and chef personally came out to ask how the food was, and it was absolutely amazing!!! Super delicious German beers - have you ever tried a dark sour??? What… I never did until I visited here. A 5 star brewery with fabulous food and unique German vibes. I can’t stop myself from going back for more…

Be aware their kitchen closes EARLY due to staffing issues. Bar was open till 8 but kitchen closed at 6 or 7 on the Wednesday I went. Really good authentic German biers. Go go go if you are in the area! Nice owners as well!!
Hansa is a jewel in Cleveland. Been going there for over 25 yrs and the owners are always kind, helpful and delightful. Thankfully the restaurant was open today (Saturday) and while they are a little more pricier than in the past, I have absolutely no problem supporting them. Anything to help keep them going. Keep up the great work Hansa!
Fabulous Slovenian/German brewery, restaurant, and European market. Homemade food, like eating at a family’s house, with excellent award winning German style beers.

Great beer with a really cool Eastern European feel. They had some really nice beers and the bar atmosphere allowed for really cool experience. The owner even came out to the bar and chatted up a few of us. I thought that was a really nice touch as he took the time to meet and greet his customers.
The best food in town. Awesome pretzels!!! Sausage platter is very good. Potato pancakes very very good and excellent service. You will enjoy the homey atmosphere.
Great location, the bartender let me sample a 6 year old quad that was ridiculously smooth. Good beer, good pretzels, I'll be back next time I'm in Cleveland!
Fantastic food and even better beer! Some of the best rotkraut I've had in years. Highly recommend the schwarzbier, schnitzel, and sausage platter. Beer flight was a great deal for for sizeable sample portions.
Having just recently discovered my Slovenian heritage, made the experience here that much better. The owner are awesome and Chef Matt’s dishes are spectacular. Service was perfect and prices are reasonable for such great food. Beer selection ain’t bad either. Check out the import store on your way out!!
