I tried Lexi's tonight. The hostess was pleasant and our server did a great job. We did not run out of drink at any time. You can tell the staff is still trying to get into the groove of everything but they were great. I had the red snapper and my son had the salmon steak. Both were cooked very well. The onions on top of my snapper were delicious. The sweet tea was on target. The salad bar had great choices. Everything looked fresh. There were several different green salads to choose from. I tried a dollop of the chicken salad and it was delicious. There were a couple of extremely minor issues that were not consistent with the overall experience but they were almost inconsequential. The overall presentation of the food was consistent with the overall experience. The menu isn't very large but it will most likely continue to be tweaked. I had the chance to chat with the owner. She is a well trained chef with a lot of creativity and drive. We have a treasure here, with many good things to come. We need a place like this here. PS. If you appreciate fine foods cooked correctly by trained chefs, go try Lexi's.

Dinner menu has six items: two steaks, salmon, tuna, pork chop and chicken. They were out of tuna and chicken. Dinner comes with one of only four sides and bread, and a dinner salad is an extra $3.00. The salad bar ($10.00) has a nice variety and two soups. I had the pork chop, which was a little dry and not much flavor ($14). The waitress never asked which side I wanted with my pork chop, so I had to flag her down and tell her I would like a side of green beans. The lunch menu looks a lot more reasonable with a variety of sandwiches at a decent price.

I've had lunch only, but I will certainly be back often. The soup/salad bar was only $10, and it's all you can eat. The menu isn't over-crowded, but the selections are relevant and inviting. The atmosphere in the renovated building is clean, quaint, inviting, and relaxing. A great experience.

This place seems to be trying to make it work but comes across as amatuers at running a restaurant. The restaurant is smokey due to lack of ventilation, the menu has already changed and what's on your menu isn't up to date. The salad bar is good and the meats we had were cooked well but didn't come with a sauce or any kind of garnish. The rice was cooked sticky Asian style but it's a steak house so you expect to see butter and salt on the rice? If they make it I'm sure they will figure out the kinks. But it doesn't look like they will last long.

Salad & Potato Bar was not very well stocked. No Romaine Lettuce - No Cottage Cheese - No Chili for the Potato - No type of Cracker. Soup was Tomato Basil, but the Basil was very light. Nothing really stuck out except maybe the old Brown Iceberg Lettuce. Acoustics in the Dinning Area was horrible. Every small sound was amplified; Dishes clanging, Chairs being dragged across the floor, ect? Five in our group. The experience was memorable, but not Pleasurable.

Lexi's Blue Ribbon is a welcome replacement for Trattoria (which replaced Lemon Sisters). The $10 salad bar (only +$3 as an upgrade to dinner entree) is EXCELLENT with 3 good leafy green choices: green and red leaf lettuce, spinach, and romaine. I counted 6 protein options: tuna salad, chicken salad, chopped ham, chopped deli turkey, hard boiled egg, bacon crumbles. There were probably 20 other things as well. My only disappointment was that the 6 dressings were all store-bought. The swiss mushroom burger (lunch) was good. The grilled salmon (dinner) was EXCELLENT with delicious seasoning and not overcooked.

The Salad Bar is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! And the Cone Dessert the best I've ever had, sweet, crunchy with either fresh apple or strawberries. Try a Mushroom Cheese Burger, WOW. This is the new go to for me!!!

I wish I could use less stars. This place doesn't even deserve one. Staff is extremely rude. Manager Lexie seems very unexperienced and not ready for this kind of responsibility. The food was terrible, meat overcooked. Brought up my concerns with the Manager and she didn't even apologize or offer any kind of discount. My cup and plates were dirty. Salad bar had bugs all over it. Bathroom was disgusting. Couldn't see the kitchen but it probably looked the same. I will be contacting the City to launch an investigation in hopes of getting this place shut down.
