Drive thru delight. I just drove thru and got Orange Shrimp, rarity on a take-out Chinese menu. The portion was quite generous, the shrimp were huge 12-16 size it appeared, and cooked well, could have spiced it up a little more, and the white rice was a little bit dry, but they were about to close so that was understandable. All in all a tasty meal, I'll be going back to check out their other selections soon
The fried rice has been really really good. Either house special or straight chicken or straight shrimp. The beef and broccoli also is good. Everything else is pretty average. The concept of drive thru Chinese is better than the Panda place and i think you get a good value for your buck here.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Dunedin. They have a drive-thru, and even though you may wait a few extra minutes, it is worth the wait. The food is always delicious and fresh. I always recommend Shanghai Express whenever anyone asked me about Chinese food
Update: went last week and the restaurant is closed, marquee down. I wish there was a note on the door. I'm still looking for a great Chinese food restaurant
The Food is always Great. My favorite is the Orange Chicken which can be specified spicy OR not spicy as all food is fresh cooked to order with Large Portions. (Eat some, save some to be reheated later.) Great value. Never had headaches or food allergy problems. Family owned, operated and friendly!! (Closed, usually... only on Mondays)
Have been going here for years. Watch the owners family grow up. And we've never been disappointed. The food is ALWAYS great and you always get more than your money's worth.

The food is very tasty here. My wife and I have eaten the take out for years. We've tried other places out of convenience but always come back. Wish they'd turn on the outzide lights at night though. You can easily miss the place if you don't know where it is.
the food is excellent here. I always get the sweet and sour chicken. amazing cook. The fried rice is the best in area., took me awhile to find this gem of a Chinese Restaurant. Would highly recommend
