Cheddar's does it right. Nothing on their menu seems to be pre made frozen heat up crap food like so many other chain restaurants. Their food is solid and their staff is friendly and accommodating. Every time I go to Cheddar's I enjoy the food and service. It has become my go to chain restaurant.
Deafening but very good food at a reasonable price. One of our favorites for a casual restaurant. It's got to be difficult for Applebee's and Chili's to compete. We eat there 2 or 3 times a month. Best onion rings in the county, fried shrimp are pretty good, too.
However, the noise level is horrendous -- at least in the restaurant on East Bay/Roosevelt. Those hard wood ceilings and tile floors bounce the sound around so much, that we are sometimes happy to get out of the place. Got to be tough on the serve staff!

First Timer Today. Today was my first time and I was provided with excellent service even though the place was packed they sat me immediately and I was addressed by the server very quickly, I had the Monte Cristo Sandwich with Broccoli Cheese Casserole and it was delicious (see photo). I will be back to check out some other items on the menu. Also, get some of the honey/butter croissants while you wait for your meal. Sooooo good. Enjoy and thanks Cheddars.
Like the food. I've been here often and we've always been pretty happy with the food. The soup tends to come out luke warm but other than that it's a good experience. Their salads are really good.
Decent. This place gets pretty packed at lunch, so we sat at a bar table. Service was good, food was good and the place was nice and clean. I'll be back.
Pear Salad !!. Your Pear Salad with grilled chicken is GREAT, the various flavors combine with you own dressing ..... it's the BEST !! So nice to have a lower fat choice when you are a Weight Watchers, this would be my choice even If I wasn't on WW. We ate at the bar last night and I must say those two girls behind the bar are a great team.... Fun to watch them perform their bar tending skills, great food, great service what more can I say !
Good home cooking. I am overall happy with their food. I have been their,e sever.al times and it is pretty good no bells and whistles
Inconsistant. I have been here dozens of times you simply never know whether your meal is going to be good or not over the past few months I would say they have been declining things like a itty bitty piece of shrimp with a HUGE blob of batter around it and they call this a LARGE shrimp is not exactly what I had in mind. Prices are good service is decent but flip a coin you may or may not have a good meal sad saying this they were our favorites I guess we kept coming back hoping they would change perhaps not !
Good food and great prices. I've eaten here about 4 times and each visit was excellent. Service was great, food was tasty each time and the value is outstanding, with large portions at excellent prices.
