Mojave Cantina

Love it here! Great fresh tasting delicious food every time! Love the chicken fajitas roll up, tacos, Mexican pizza, and save room for some of the best fried ice cream! And they must have some great drinks because every time I go there for lunch there are always drinks flowing that look Amazing! Oh and I forgot to mention that the prices are great and you get big portions! If you like fresh yummy Mexican food you have to give them a try! Sorry I couldn't wait to dig in and forgot to take the picture first 🤣

The food was good, the drinks were good, and the service was good. We arrived around 3:30, and we had our choice of tables. A few others showed up shortly thereafter, but it wasn't crowded at all that early. The management was obviously trying to keep the heating bill down, it was pretty chilly. Good atmosphere, ample parking. We enjoyed our visit.

All of the waitresses, food runners and bus boys are super nice! Our waitress was very kind, funny and attentive. Food runners were friendly and made sure we got what we needed. Bus boys were so kind to offer to take our empty plates out of our way just in time after we boxed our food. We went on 1/22 around night time. Crowd was busy so I came across probably every server and they all brought a smile on my face. Food was AMAZING. We ordered the Mexican pizza for appetizers and fajitas for dinner. Definitely more than enough food to take home so totally worth the price! The house margaritas are really good. Our waitress said that the margaritas had new ingredients and I could tell that they tasted improved! If I could rate more than a 5 I would!

Love Mojave! We always come here when we don’t know what to eat, because it always hits the spot. Food and drinks are great, and there are good vegan options. The staff is also very accommodating for you are veg/vegan so it’s no problem. Drinks are good and the chips and salsa are good as well. Nice outdoor seating, and easy parking.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and wanted to try out some of the new local restaurants, our friends suggest Mojave Cantina and we decided to give it a go. We came in this past Saturday (2/5) around dinner time and it was very busy, which is understandable for it being the weekend. We had a small wait, but was able to be seated very shortly after which was great. Super sweet staff, the hostess was very friendly and was being apologetic about there being a slight wait. The servers and bar staff were very busy, but made sure to check on us and see if we’ve been helped (not a lot of restaurants do that). The manager, Crystal, ending up helping seat us and helped us answer a couple of questions about the food. She helped us narrow down what was best for my husbands food allergies, they are very accommodating to people with food allergies/sensitivities and we are very thankful for that. We ended up ordering the chicken and steak fajita, and south west chicken egg rolls to split. AMAZING. Great flavor & huge portions! definitely enough for two people to split. Drinks were great, our server, Alicia, helped us pick the best ones for us. We got a Cervesarita … IT HAD A CORONA BOTTLE TIPPED IN IT! how cool is that?!? we also got a jumbo house margarita with salt & by far one of the best margaritas we have had. Our server mentioned they make the batches with real lemons and limes, you can definitely taste the difference. We will definitely be back. Thanks Mojave for being so accommodating once again!

We got a seat rather quickly, and placed our drink, appetizer, and entree order right away since we knew what we wanted. Within 10 minutes we got our appetizer, but after 45 minutes we never received our meal. We asked our waitress when it may come and she did not know. We kindly asked to cancel our entrees, and went somewhere else. The appetizer was delicious, but the kitchen was very slow.

Here’s what they got right. The salsa was the best part of the meal. The guacamole was good, too. Although the chips were fresh and warm, they were too thin to hold up in the guacamole. The meal (street tacos) arrived cold. The rice was dry and flavorless. The refried beans were okay. The street tacos were so bland that I didn’t know if I was eating pork, chicken or a meat substitute. The only flavor that I could taste was the corn tacos. There wasn’t any salt/pepper on the table to help any.
