Wonderful experience. I dined on 10/6 with my girlfriend. She had the Lamb Shank which was amazing. I had the duck confit ravioli: Wow. finished with orange zest over the beurre blanc-perfect touch. Poached beet and pear salad was delightfully balanced. The manager checked on us twice, which was great. But the cherry on top was Chef Chris, who came out to place our entrees. He is the pride of Mariemont, a rotund and cheery man who described our entrees and went into detail about the subtleties of the preparation. Well done! Can't wait to come back

The food is always good and the service excellent. They are willing to split salads and entrees and the presentation is as special as the menu choices.
Beautiful Bistro for the Beautiful People. This place is gorgeous. The decor, food presentation, clientele, and the help. The food is good and The Quarter Bistro is definitely a place where the upscale of the east side go to see & be seen, but the place is not pretentious. Everyone seems comfortable and happy.

Best steak I've ever had. My husband loved the fish tacos, too. Definitely would recommend.
Great Atmosphere and Food!. If you're looking for a romantic evening with your significant other you can't beet going to the Quarter Bistro and then seeing a movie at the Mariemont theater! The food is delicious and reasonably priced!

8/10 Charming place, great food. The Quarter Bistro was a huge success for my girlfriend and I. It's right in the heart of Mariemont, in the same building as the movie theater. The simple half-timber exterior that conforms to the style of the surrounding buildings is deceiving, as inside the place is classy and inviting.
Service was fine - no complaints there. Cocktails were okay (lemon martini and a mojito). The pre-meal bread was fantastic - it was like a loaf of warm, soft pizza crust. Kind of odd that it was served in a paper bag, but it was delicious.
For our entrees we got the 18-hour short ribs (their signature dish) and the pan roasted ruby red trout. The short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the dish was savory as can be with a rich stroganoff creme sauce and tender vegetables. Even though I am not a lover of savory foods, I'll have to admit that I was impressed by it.
My trout was fantastic as well. The fish was slightly overcooked - while this made it a bit dry, it also gave the skin a crispy texture which was nice. Adding the juices from the grilled lemon hydrated the meat and added a great deal of depth to the flavor. The prosciutto wrapped haricot verts were outstanding.
For dessert we got the mocha brulee and beignet. The miniature beignets were soft and fluffy. The mocha brulee was done well.
Overall, the Quarter Bistro was quite impressive. We went around 8:30 and it was still crowded, so they must be doing alright. It's kind of surprising to see such little attention for them on here. I'd definitely recommend going - I thought the prices were reasonable for what we were offered and it was easy to have a good time at this upscale but casual restaurant.
Quarter Bistro is a place worth visiting over and over.... We have been going to Quarter Bistro for a few years. It's an upscale restaurant with a comfortable local community feel. The staff is plesant, unpretentious, and very attentive. The food has always been very good. Try the 18 Hour Short Ribs...excellent. If you become a regular, the bartenders remember your name....even if you didn't stop by for a year, as we did...they still remembered us. That's unique and a form of personal service that you rarely get elsewhere. They have outdoor, sidewalk, seating when the weather is warm. Give it try.

We were there to celebrate our anniversary. The food was wonderful, staff made us feel welcome. Kayla made sure every detail was perfect.
Steak tartar is fantastic as well as our entrees. Service was spot on and atmosphere had energy without being too loud.
Never had a bad meal here. The short rib is amazing.

This place has become our permanent anniversary dinner. The food is unmatched, service is the best I've had in the whole city. They never cease to amaze us. We eat out at high end restaurants every 2 months, and Quarter Bistro has them all beat.
