I've read a few of the reviews AFTER my visit last night. I had the total opposite experience than the other reviews! Great service, great food, pleasant server who recommended several things and luckily talked me out of getting a burger that would have taken several days to eat . She was courteous, polite, and on top of getting our food and drinks to us. I would go back every night! The hot slaw was awesome, as well as the perfectly cooked burger . Shame on the guy who left a review and said "they didn't even ask how I wanted my burger cooked". You sir should stick with McDonald's for dinner!

This restaurant gives wonderful portions and really great food for a very reasonable price. My sister and I were there this evening, and not for the first time. She had the fish and chips and the fish portion was well over a foot long and the chips were wonderful. I had the New York strip steak baked potato and Caesar salad for $12.90 and when we left we had really had a delicious meal.

AJ's is one of those places that you drive by dozens of times and completely miss a hidden gem. We usually go there once a year with a large group for a celebration. The steak is fantastic and the selection of beers is top notch. Even though we typically have 20- 25 people in our group the service staff goes out of their way to make sure we are well taken care of. It's hidden behind Brentwood bowl but it is definitely not a place you should keep driving by.

You know what? I actually really like this place. This is the most low key resturaunt / bar in finneytown. Food is great. The manager Megan is awesome and so is her staff. Great selection of beer and the happy hour prices 4-7 are awesome. Coldest beer glasses in town. The best item on the menu is the pork chop. Try it!

This is a neighborhood bar that serves food, so if you're looking for fine dining you're in the wrong place. That being said, the food is top of the line for bar food, and you get a lot of it. Steaks are on point, being cooked on a well seasoned grill. Potatoes are actually cooked in the oven and the honey mustard dressing is made in house. The hot slaw is a classic, though not my taste, is still very popular. If you're looking for healthy food, you can find it, but it's not their primary. There are some salads in the menu and the grilled chicken is juicy, grilled and not frozen! They've even got baked sweet potatoes. Draft beer and bottles are the specialty, though they can do a few mixed drinks. Do them a favor though and don't order 16 frozen drinks, they've got a single serve bullet. Also, expect to get treated like you're at home. A nod from the bartender means to take a seat and the server may ask you your drink order from across the restaurant, but they'll do it with a smile. Dark and dingy this place may be, but it's been an integral watering hole in Finneytown for many years now. Not bad for what used to be a storage room for a bowling alley.

Excellent place to dine with a down to earth homelike atmosphere. Mary, Rick and son run this place and the service is the best of any restaurant I've ever been to and I travel over 200 days a year eating in tons of places. Their fillet mignon is beyond belief and I prefer theirs to eating at any Ruby chain or Ruth Chris. Keep up the good work guys and if you've not been there then treat yourself and family to a wonderful hidden gem in the Queen city.

Just ask a regular how great this place is. My family eats here every time I'm in town. They have a large party room in the back that allows us to all get together and enjoy each others company without having to worry about disturbing others. The Steaks and Pork Chops are off the charts. I'm also a big fan of the Nina Rags and Hot Slaw (I can't get these from where I'm from). I've been coming here for the past 7yrs and most of the staff is the same. I think it says a lot about a place that can keep their staff that long.

Don't judge a book by it's cover!!! This place is incredible!!! The worst meal I've ever had there was great. I'm very picky about my steaks but it's usually grilled to perfection... especially if Ashley is on the grill. I always ask before I order. On my way there now!!!!

Used to be Steak Nina Restaurant. Appears to be the same crew and place with some new paint and a bit more seating now. Steak Nina had a much better over all happy hour drink and food attraction. Have not eaten here yet but o will. Pics of the menu coming soon!

This place used to be known as "Steak Nina" and it has gotten a new look, but thankfully they didn't change the menu much. Their specials during the week are quite good, I particularly like the cajun Tilapia (although I think they reduced the portion size a bit, it's still good) They have a 'big gary' burger that is also one of the best burgers around, giant and delicious. If you're not going for healthy, I also recommend their loaded potato pancakes, but if you are going for healthy, they got you covered, with vegetables and baked sweet potatos and some decent fish menu options. Its a hole-in the wall behind a bowling alley, but it's a great place out for dinner. Also, most of the wait staff and bartenders are quite friendly too, so it easily turned into one of my favorite local spots.
