This place is so awesome. Authentic Mexican food at good prices. I have been twice and will be back again. If it wasn't an hour drive away, I would be there very other day!
Let's face facts: Cincinnati needs another taqueria like a hole in the head. Still, there's something to be said for having a good one in your own back yard rather than having to travel to Newport, Over-the-Rhine, Fairfield or Madisonville. Taqueria San Marcos, which is tucked on a corner of a mostly residential swatch of Carthage Ave. in Norwood, fits that bill.
This nice little mom and pop taco spot was just what I needed for Taco Tuesday! They had the BEST marinated, authentic, chicken, street tacos.. our waitress was the owner of this location and she took care of everyone inside the restaurant and did a spectacular job! The food is made to order so you'll likely have to wait, but it is well worth it. Had fun exploring this end of the city and can't wait to come back.

This was our first visit to Taqueria San Marcos. Blew me out of the water. We got horchata, piña fresca, tacos al pastor, and the barbacoa torta. Food and drinks were fantastic all for a fair and affordable price.
10/10 recommend and will be back.
This place is AMAZING! The atmosphere is Mexican 50's Diner, the service by Rachelle today was impeccable, and the food was authentic and done to perfection, absolutely delicioso! If you are looking for REAL Mexican food done right and at a great price in Cincinnati, this is "the hole in the wall" you've been looking for. Come here and eat, right now, you'll thank me later.
Love this little Restaurant. The server was friendly and quick to serve us. Our food arrived hot and quickly. Restaurant was very clean and I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. I ordered the mushroom quesadilla rice and guacamole salad can't remember what the rest of the family ordered but they all said their food was hot and tasted really good.
The pulled pork with refried beans and rice was very good. The beef tacos were the best that I have had. The tacos were very much like the tacos that I had in Mexico.
The chicken tacos were fantastic! The rest (tacos) was ok. Tamales are worth a taste. The masa part is very soft and moist.
