Steak 'n Shake

Always loved the food here. Currently it is closed and the company is trying to franchise it out. We all know it will never open again. That’s sad cuz I love the food and the price was good. If it re opens be assured I will probably have a YouTube video about it. The service here could be lacking at times due to understaffing, employees doing multiple jobs or it just being plain busy. They were always friendly and only screwed up a meal once or twice but fixed it immediately. That aside the food and price was well worth it. Now I drive 30-40 min to the next closest one. I miss this place.

This place is great so I don't get why they don't have a line out the door. $4.00 meals that are more than you need. Double with fries and a bowl of chili for $4.00, nobody has that going on. Tammi the waitress was working 13 tables and the counter and never missed a beat, hot food fast, refills, check on time. People are overlooking the value and the quality of the food. Great lunch place especially if you only have a little time.

I've had pretty good experiences at this location. Sometimes the service or food gets a little off or mixed up, but is always made right. I typically only go here late nights, so I am used to that happening. Food is however always tasty, great milk shakes, and overall a friendly place to go for a late night bite with your date.

Walked in and they sat us right away. They were busy as this was Saturday evening. Our waiter was friendly and pointed out some specials. Took our drink order and for the first time ever the milkshakes came out before our food. Usually we have to get them for carryout. Food was good but you get what you pay for!

Always a great late night stop. Never gotten there and been told the ice cream machine is broken so that's a plus. No excessive wait lines. They try to add new milk shake flavors every season or couple of months. Waiting for Gingerbread to come back next holiday season. The Frisco melt is always amazing as well!!

The food is very good but the waiter was so very caring too. It was a slower time of night which afforded him the time to get to know us a bit. When he learned that I have a special needs daughter, he expressed genuine interest in learning more about her. It has not been my experience that many waiters/waitresses take that kind of interest in their customers. We will certainly be back when we can.
