Excellent service and food...without the high prices! Best fish burrito I’ve ever had. This place isn’t convenient at all for me to get to, but I go out of my way because it’s so worth it!
I think the service is great, and we always go on very busy Saturday's at the Market. The beef & chicken nachos are excellent....everything here is excellent. A very friendly place. I love their variety of food choice. Gotta stop Mama Lo Hizo's every time I'm at the market.
Extremely Delicious! Quick service, fresh products, very tasty, affordable.
I had the chicken bowl, with black beans, white rice, corn, cheese, and the most delicious spicy green sauce. It tasted like a real mexican street food.
And a "mango jarrito" for a drink was the best.
Highly recommended 👌 🤤
The food was good but it was more like burrito instead of torta. I like they put cheese on the top of the torta because it was with more flavor
This is one of the only interior places to purchase cooked food (almost every other spot is raw meats, fish, cheese, bakery). The menu is a bit confusing, but we decided on 2 Burrito bowls and 2 tacos. Tacos were a little skimpy, and over half of the bowl was rice. I would have asked for just a little if I'd known the man was going to load it up with rice. When it came time to choose the 4 included toppings, we went with Pico, lettuce, cheese, and guac out of what was displayed behind the plexiglass. Got to the register and was charged an extra $2.95 (twice!) for the tiny scoop of guac on each of the 2 bowls because I missed the info on the 8x11 paper taped to the bottom of the menu that explained in tiny font that guac was an add-on. I realize this is a small business and the guac is new, but they need better signage or at least a verbal notice to patrons that a spoonful of guac will be 30% more than than the regular price of the whole bowl. $6 for a combined total of 1/4 cup of guac is ridiculous. We were visiting from out of town and short on time, so this spot was convenientut. In a nutshell, the food tasted fine though a little pricey for the portions, & service was lukewarm.
Very good everytime I've had it . The green jalapeno habanero salsa is one of my favorite tastes. I buy it by the container and take it home to put it on other meals I make as well. So good on eggs!
No lie, my favorite place in the market, plus they have the grill next door. The tater toots are the best.
I have gotten the fish and vegetarian tacos several times. Affordable and fresh- I only wish they had seltzer as a drink option, but that’s super picky on my part. Really nice staff every time I’ve been! 😊
We bought our hamburgers and fries at the Grill which is connected to Mama Lo Hizo. I got a classic burger and fries and a can of Coke , my son got a Loco Mex Burger and onion rings and a bottle of water. The cost was $17.52.
I've gone here for like 5 years. Good chicken nachos.
Fresh, fast and delicious -
Mama Lo Hizo never disappoints!
Love it. These are quite possibly the best tacos in Cincy. I got 2 steak tacos and the meat was great, seasoned to perfection, toppings were good and fresh and they even had the Mexican import soda. Customer Service was Great and food came out fast, kinda like in a subway but with tacos. 10/10 would go back
