Love this place! People are always so friendly and the food is the best!
always have and always will love the food. Period.
Taco Casa is great...not healthy but great.. I went there a few months back. I got a burrito in a bowl with their hottest sauce on it. That thing was awesome. Lots of cheese and a good heat. I plan on going back again soon.
AMAZING!. I had seen a lot of mixed reviews about this place on the internet and was a bit hesitent to try it, some people seemed to love it and others seemed pretty vocal about how much they disliked the place. However, a friend of mine is a fan so I decided to try it with her and I was BLOWN AWAY! Their taco salad is INCREDIBLE! I love it, the atmosphere is quaint and fun, the people working there are very personable and kind, and the taco salad is AMAZING. I go atleast twice a week, my personal favorite is the taco salad with pinto beans, YUMMMYY! So delicious, there taco meat is what makes the dish, very tasty and flavorful! If you havent's tried it you have to go, and GET THE TACO SALAD. Best americano-mexican in cincinnati by far! 5 STARTS!!!
Eating at Taco Casa since 1970. Since I've been eating at Taco Casa for 45 years, I guess you'd have to say I like it! The original location on Erie Avenue started out as "Taco Tico" and then somewhere along the line around 1968, became Taco Casa. The most amazing thing about this story is that Taco Casa food today is nearly identical to what was being served in 1970, except for the addition of some menu items.
It's not really Mexican; I would have to say that Taco Casa's cuisine is unique. It's not made with the finest ingredients, as others have mentioned, but the spiced ground beef, and the salsa (really more like picante sauce) is what keeps people coming back here.
Yes, the taco salad is really good, but for me, the beef burrito boat and the beef tacos keep me returning time and again for another fix. It's a guilty pleasure, I've never bothered to estimate the calories in a Taco Casa meal; but if you are on a diet this may not be the place for you.
(Taco Casa is also the perfect food after a long night of indulging, when you need that special fix).
Long live Taco Casa...
I voted that I "like it" but actually it's just the taco salad only that I really love from here. Get the dressing on the side and drink it separately, it's that good!! Seriously, whoever I get one for myself and pick up a large to take home for the family, it's like I just announced we're going to Disney! The other options aren't up to par in my opinion.
Great taco salad. The taco salad is pretty damn good, even if it isn't exactly authentic Mexican. I got a large (which is a lot of food) and a chicken chorizo burrito (also plenty big enough for a meal). What can I say? I had a Groupon. And leftovers for a couple days, too.
Service wasn't much to write home about, at least the night I was there. The three girls behind the counter argued the whole time I was waiting for my carry-out. The cashier rolled her eyes at me when I handed over the Groupon. What's up with that? No one said hello or thanks, either. The economy still sucks, ladies. You can be replaced.
I'll give a restaurant a few tries before I totally give up on it, though. Everyone has a bad night from time to time. I'll be back (maybe a small taco salad this time).
The best non-healthy taco salad in the world is served here. Even a full grown man will have a hard time devouring a small taco salad. Get one.
Starting to update the place, fast food and the employees are family warming love it!
This is pure comfort food. My burrito boat was warm, filling, cheesy, and meaty. Inexpensive and tasty. I took off one star for the atmosphere - the pop music from the kitchen fought with the Hallmark movie playing on the TV in the dining area. I had to clean spillage from the prior table occupant - not terrible, but not Maisonette quality. Food comes in a plastic dish on a plastic tray. Don't come here for the ambiance - come for the food. I wouldn't change a thing, and I'm planning my next visit.
They have the best tacos in town! Their taco meat is pretty unique I think, it's not to spicy and the texture is really smooth. I can stop there and get 2 tacos for $4 and some change and I'm good to go satisfied but not stuffed. The lettuce is always ice cold and the stewed tomatoes they put on top just completes them. People also go on and on about their taco salad!
If I were unfamiliar with Taco Casa, I probably would not enter. But the food is great and has been great for decades.
The taco salad is the best; I also like the burrito boat and the enchiladas. My only complaint is that they're always out of the cinnamon crystos.
short on help just like every where else but the food is out standing..... very casual but the ranch is amazing.. taco salad is
A+
Love their taco salads !! Definitely recommend 👌also try their soft tacos and quesadillas! The staff is friendly too 😃
Thank you Eboni and Andrew for your fabulous, friendly customer service with a smile!
Every bite of my my Taco Salad, tacos and other items were DELICIOUS! I appreciate you both! Definitely will be back soon!💝
Fantastic taco/burrito shop. Great customer service, clean place, and a much, much, MUCH more interesting meal than the usual Chipotles that we have to endure! The food is excellent, so go get some non huge chain restaurant food - you'll be happy you did!
Stopped in at my girlfriend's request. It's her favorite. I got great service and the food was fresh and delicious. I expected to spend about 20$ and that's what the total ended up being. Everyone in the house was able to eat so it was a great food dollar ratio. Thumbs High.👍
Great fast food type Mexican. Enchiladas were great! Add queso on top for the extra flavor!
