This was... interesting. Contemporary art is usually quite political and the messages the artists are trying to share usually go over my head. And that was the case here with much of the artwork. And yet, there were a number of pieces that I did enjoy. And certainly the venue is tremendous. As it's free, I would recommend you visit. You might get more out of it than I did.

The top floor's interactive area at The Contemporary Art Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an absolute blast! As a solo adult, I had so much fun exploring the engaging exhibits and experiencing the interactive installations. Visiting The Contemporary Art Museum is a fantastic experience for families.

This Museum is Free entrance . We have so much fun in the creations center in the top floor. My daughter and I have a creative experience making some craft there . We love all the recycle material that inspires us to make stuff. Also all the exhibits are interesting and fun. Some artists included music or videos. We took photos without flash . We are in love with this gem Museum . The modern arquitect was Sara Hadid and was inspired by the Urban look incorporating the outside to inside. Also have a little shop inside. No parking lot so you need to park in the street or public parking.

This was definitely one of the more relaxing and engaging art museums that I have visited in the last few years. Plenty of pieces in each gallery but not so many that you feel overwhelmed in trying to learn about and take in each one. Bonus points to the Creativity Center on the top floor for having a record player available and being a kid friendly space in general. Would definitely recommend to visit!

I really enjoyed my time at Cac. It was really great and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I went during the week on a Wednesday, and it was perfect! They have an interactive floor where kids can touch and create art. (I enjoyed that floor)

Am interesting venue. The art gallery is open for guest to enjoy and a dance disco in the basement. The bartender’s rock. They don’t allow the guests to wait forever to get a drink. The security at the doors do a good job. The event coordinator is easy to work with. Flowers by Sending Blooms

It is a wonderful place for Adults as well as young ones to know the fruits of struggle. An amazing place to take out your creativity. I loved it.

Very open atmosphere and inviting spacing. Each exhibit links together and the staff are great on explaining if you do have a question. 3 floors of exhibits with a small area to create your own memento of your visit to take with you or leave.

It was a very interesting experience. I loved some exhibits, confused by others, bored by others, even laughed at some. Like most modern art it's very hit and miss as to whether you'll like it. I think it'd be worth it to visit just to look at the architecture and one or two exhibits on the 2nd floor. Not much for kids, if that's what you're looking for; there were a few exhibits with explicit content. Very good representation for minorities. A couple exhibits were a little confusing -- can I touch this, where should I be looking, should I walk through this/on this/around this... Some of the videos seemed hidden from visitors, but weren't. There were openings in the wall where you could just walk in -- if not for the signs I wouldn't have known the videos were there. Lots of good reading material -- signs and plenty of books. Some interactive exhibits on the 1st, 2nd and 5th floor. It was free for admission, but it wasn't free to park. We parked around the corner at a meter for an hourly fee -- reasonable. We stayed for between an hour and an hour and a half. This was enough time to ponder on some exhibits, but not to watch much of the videos or read every panel. It was also enough time to take a little visit to the gift shop -- my complaint is that the prices were not clearly labeled on some merchandise. We didn't eat at the cafe in the front, so I can't attest to the food or drink.

I parked in a parking deck 1 block away and paid $12 for just over 2 hours, which turned out to be great since the museum was free, and there are tons of other cool stuff around it...including the "Cincinnati Art Galleries" which was also free AND had food! The interactive experiences in this place though were wonderful! Very cool modern contemporary building design...even the gallery below which didn't have art in it at the time was simply a wonderfully designed space to be in!
