I think that it's a rite of passage to try Skyline Chili when you're in the Cincinnati area.This regional delicacy is known across the country but it started right here in the city: Skyline Chili is unique is not the kind of chili you eat from a bowl. Instead, it's a sauce usually used over spaghetti - which you can get with cheese and onions, too.I ordered a three-way, which is the spaghetti, chili, and cheese. You can add beans or onions to this.It's served with oyster crackers.And, it was just OK for me. Like, yes, I'm happy I got to try it. But the sauce is kind of bland to me, and I don't get it over pasta. I prefer a red sauce with my pasta - not chili. But you top anything with cheese, and it can't be too bad.
Part of being a Cincinnatian.... Having Skyline chili in downtown Cincinnati is just part of the Cincinnati experience... (For out-of-towners, yes... we eat it over spaghetti and on hot dogs.... with lots and lots of fluffy cheese... and our preferred cracker is the oyster cracker.)
5 way add skyline hotsauce and you're good to go. Quick awesome and always tasty. If you're in the mood get a couple of chili cheese dogs. A cincinnati staple. If you're in town do not miss this one for lunch or a fast dinner before a game or event.

Chili tasted awesome! Came here from Chicago for the Bears game and had to try it after a friend suggested it. Very unique style and taste. Will come back for more :)
I love Skyline! The food is delicious, filling, and it gets to you fast. Gold Star Chili will forever have to dwell in the shadow of Skyline. Anyone who thinks Gold Star is better clearly has damaged taste buds. Thank you

You eat chili. Skyline might not be the OG but it is still iconic and accessible. No where you find yourself in the Queen City.
Personally, noodles are my least favorite delivery method for chili to taste buds. But, icons existing for a reason. Even though the chili is a little sweet for my liking, the chili dogs are a wiener (see what I did there) and the service is great!

we had a great time here! first time in and had to try the famous dishes. they had more vegetarian options than we expected which was nice! service was also more than helpful and food came really quick. would come back again!
Skyline is a MUST for our first meal every time we go to Cincinnati. It's just so good. Our server was friendly and quick. A+!
I had amazing experience dining in I am a Skyline Chili fan forever and always and I had never tried the Skyline nachos until today I got the Ultimate Nachos which had everything and they were beautiful customer service here was Top Notch very friendly and welcoming my waitress was Lydia she was fantastic .... another waitress on the floor was Crystal I overheard her talking to Skyline newbies and she was absolutely wonderful with the Newbie crew and then as I was checking out I got the General Manager David he was such a pleasure to speak with they have a great team here at Skyline... this will DEFINITELY be my number one Skyline to eat at 💯 and if I was to come back and work for Skyline I would DEFINITELY choose this team💪
Skyline is always great, this visit was no exception. Great service and food in what appeared to be an historic building.
The food is almost always perfect and made quickly. My issue with this location is they installed a walk up window during renovation that has yet to be used. A sorely missed opportunity to cash in on the late night weekend crowd. Closing at 5pm makes no sense, especially with more dinner restaurants opening up on Court Street.

I just came to dine in for dinner last night and was very pleased all around. I also used the new walk-up window last weekend. Suffice to say, I'm very excited about these changes. Shout out to David and the evening staff for the consistently friendly and hospitable service. Hopefully this continues to be a feasible option for the winter months, but if not, then I'll look forward to the warmer weather again with more foot traffic in the spring. I will definitely keep coming back! 😊
Traditional place in Cincinnati. I tried the coneys and I liked them a lot! The service is super good. The restaurant was clean and organized. Recommended.
if you go for carry out try and get the woman who works the register, she is far more efficient than the man. You will get your food faster and it will be right.
I’ve heard many, many time a out Cincinnati style chili. I finally had a chance to try it and wow. This is great. Noodles with chili on top seems kind of strange or unusual but they are really tasty.
5 cheese with jalapeño is the way to go
My first time at a Skyline visiting Cincinnati - I got a 3-way, which was good and very intriguing. The service was fantastic - very kind and helpful servers - was in there for hours with a couple friends at a small table and we were never rushed or felt like we needed to leave (it was at the end of the lunch hour). Definitely recommend stopping by if you haven't been before!
