This restaurant is a hidden gem in Anderson township. The food is authentic, delicious, and made with a passion for cooking, flavor, and quality. The staff is always so friendly and kind. They work hard, and it shows.

They have good customer service. The restaurant also has vibrant colors and a nice atmosphere. The food was also good, I loved the bread.

The food is always excellent. We had a nice conversation with the owner who is a fantastic host. The outside patio with all the plants made for a great atmosphere for dinner. I can completely recommend coming here for a great meal.

If you want fresh, authentic Mediterranean/Middle East food, this is your place. You wouldn't expect such a great experience in a strip mall, but the Kurdish owners have managed to make the space inviting with authentic decor and beautiful roses that greet you at the front door. The outdoor patio is quaint with grape vines hovering overhead, not only for shade, but for fresh grapes, of course. The generous owner and executive chef is seen here by his cherry tomato plants. They've made careful use of every inch and the vibrancy of the food can't be matched here. I feel lucky to have such a great local restaurant.

We sat down outside by the fountain. There are real grapes hanging from the grapevines above you! The food was all fresh especially the veggies. There's nothing like fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and mint!

Leyla is wonderful. Perfect date night spot. The outdoor patio covered in vines and grapes is charming and romantic.
The bread with dip is very flavorful and along with the cold appetizer for 2 can be a meal in itself.
I recommend the borek for an additional appetizer!
The baklava…. Is divine. Served with hot tea it further sets a charming vibe and is packed with flavor. Enough for 2, especially after eating other food.

My partner and I recently dined in, and I can say this is by far my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant! Everything- appetizer, entree, desert, service, and hospitality- was top notch. Flavorful, authentic, and balanced with proper portions. I will definitely be back and will be spreading the word.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent but the building was way too cold. We had to eat with our coats on (along with most everyone else) and it was still unpleasantly cold. Next time I go, it will be when it's warmer outside.

Absolutely amazing food! We went as a family and started with an array of dips, warm pita and bread. It was fantastic. We then moved on to the most delicious shared meat platter and baked eggplant. I could eat the baked eggplant every day! The meats were flavorful and plentiful. We ended with trying each of the desserts. The pudding was a great mix of almond, cinnamon and vanilla. The baklava was warm and dripping in honey. A true treat. Do not skip this gem!

I love this location. They do have the most delicious Mediterranean dishes. the atmosphere is very cozy and the team is outstanding. I have been to many Mediterranean restaurants in DC, New York, Chicago but Leyla is the best. Make sure to order their appetizers it is very delicious and freshly made. We also had a kebab platter, my husband and I enjoyed it very much. Also, they have Kurdish coffee yummy! Will come back!
