Good food, good drinks. Pita chips & hummus are amazing, rotisserie chicken with lightning sauce is very tasty! Frida Kahlo Martina is like nothing I've had before
The food at Revolution Rotisserie is excellent. Our service was fast and attentive to our needs. I will absolutely be back in the future, though I wish some more kid friendly dishes were on the menu.
Revolution Rotisserie & Bar opened recently in OTR on Race just off of Central Parkway. They serve all sorts of "sandwiches" all made with house-made rotisserie chicken. Here's a hint of what's to come! They started as a tent at Findlay Market and just opened their spot that is also a block from Washington Park. In addition to the rotisserie chicken - they also have vegetarian options. It's a bright open concept but the tables are pretty tight - so when it's busy - it's packed. There is quite a bit of street parking and since it's not in the middle of all the other restaurants - it's a little easier to find a spot. I had the George Washington ($8) (don't mind the grey bar - no idea what happened there?) - it's basically a Greek Pita. It comes with Rotisserie chicken, arugula, feta cheese, red onion, cucumber, tomato & tzatziki sauce. The pita part of the sandwich was good - it was a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sandwich as a whole was pretty good - the chicken is tasty but even with the sauce - all in all - it was a little dry. This reminded me of my times at It's Just Crepes (we miss you) - they can tend to be dry - so I always got one that has some saucy to it (The Red Goat - in case they ever come back). I need to find the pita with some saucy. Dawn got the Nelson Mandela ($8 - chicken, pepperjack, black beans, corn chips, cilantro, tomato & chipotle ranch). I'll tell you - I was DROOLING over this. It looked delicious and was very saucy! Dawn liked it as well. On a return visit - I'll definitely get this one. They have 8 options for sandwiches so I'm sure there's one you'll like. We went for a side of tater tots (how can you not?!) that comes with a side of chipotle ranch ($3). These are good - as tater tots always are - but I'd love to see some type of seasoning on them to make them a little more special. Why Should You Go? It's definitely worth a try - my sandwich was pretty good - but it has promise. You can also get a half-bird
Good Stuff. Surprisingly good pita chips/hummus. Delicious sandwiches (I had the Harriet Tubman). Friendly service, cute atmosphere.
Really good food!. Wife had tater tot poutine, I had the Nelson Mandela. Both were delicious and filling. Very glad to have another more casual, cheaper, yet still very high quality option in OTR.
This place is great for lunch. They have really good hummus and the sandwiches and salads are delicious. Everything is priced right too!
Chicken was great and our drinks were as well. We had the Bourbon cider and the Strawberry Mule. The chicken was super tender and juicy even the breast. The wing was so good, that it made me wish I'd order the wings too. I'd go again just to try the wings.
Truffle tots are awesome! The waitress was very helpful, her name was Lilly. She helped us with every part of the menu. We got the Washington pita and a dish of the double dark rotisserie chicken. Excellent. Will be back!!
This place is delicious but very small and compact. Don't expect a big group accommodation. The rotisserie chicken is made to perfection, the sauce that I had with mine (verde) complemented the chicken and rice so well. The brownie a la mode was exceptional as well. They warmed it up for me which sealed the deal.
This place is incredible. I've been to both locations and the owners are such great people. Their menu changes fairly regularly with good features. The truffle tots are incredible, the cinnamon toast cocktail is delicious, the breakfast poutine is to die for and the chicken wings are really good. I highly recommend checking it out!
The food is delicious and the service is great. The atmosphere is cozy and a great place to sit and talk with friends. I highly recommend the Marie Curie. It’s handicap accessible with out door eating. Close to Washington Park and OTR shopping.
Great food! Really nice staff and a cool atmosphere! Their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is awesome. Deviled eggs are great too. Also pies made in house for dessert.
Food was very good and our waitress was nice but service was pretty slow. I had waited for 15 mins for a water refill. The place itself is pretty loud too. They could use some acoustic wall panels to absorb the sounds.
Randomly decided to stop here for dinner, and had an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly, all the food was top notch, and the atmosphere was cozy without being cramped. Will absolutely be back!
I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The chicken is amazing - juicy and tender. Tater totes were also very good. We got the pita chips and guac as an appetizer that did not disappoint. Our waitor was super helpful in explaining the menu and drink specials. Definitely recommend!
This place has everything...
Bottomless tots (fo free during happy hour), the Declaration of Independence, a menu named after historical figures... everything.
This chic, modern spot is tucked into the up-and-coming OTR area of Cincinnati and won’t disappoint. With ample bar seating, booths, and tables in between, stop by for a bite to eat, drinks, or both.
