Service is great, fun atmosphere, cute and cozy, the table extended of the particular booth we had in the corner. There's some unique entrees: the cinnamon waffle is kind of like a gingerbread, the Greek omelette had been made with most ingredients stirred into the eggs and imo leaves the eggs too overpowering, the Cuban sandwich didn't have pickles or mustard served on it and the meat hanging from all sides is difficult to eat, the gravy and biscuit is layered. The number one reason to go is for the experience, like a touch of wonderland.

Busy on Sunday morning and wait was about 30 min but worth it. Food was delish. Thin blueberry pancakes and crispy bacon hit the spot. Friendly people there too. This is definitely a Diners drive-ins and dives place for locals. Met an over 80 year old lady been going there since she was a teen...open since 1942.

The cinnamon French toast was a winner. The slaughterhouse five was a good assortment of foods but was not up to standard. Would have been better if it was more fresh and hot coming out of the oven. Service was good but parking was rough. There is a nice small diner feel to the place but was crowded. Recommend going when there is not a rush in the morning.

love the old-time dinner feel. service was excellent. Our food was so yummy. 2 of us got the h'fer burger. we both loved it. grandkid got French toast and chocolate chip pancakes and ate every single bite! the ONLY negative is that if you're a big person (and I am) the booths are teeny tiny and it's SUPER difficult to find a place to sit. also the bathrooms are downstairs and I'm disabled so I can't do stairs. there wasn't a ramp at the entrance but they do have nice, sturdy handrails.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I got the half order of thin blue berry pancakes and biscuits and gravy. My favorite breakfast place in Cincinnati by far! Love it! Thank you! I’ve been going for years!

This was the first time my friends and I ever came here. We weren't sure what we were going to expect, but it was a good time! There was of course, a line and we waited about 30 minutes to get inside. The restaurant was packed and we came around 11am on the weekend. The restaurant is so fun, bright, and lively! There are rubber ducks everywhere and in all kinds of places. Each duck that is on the wall looked unique and funny. Staff was friendly, funny, and helpful, but weren't attentive and didn't check on us much, and when we needed help we had to get someone who was walking by. I got the eggs benedict and a side of pancakes. I think overall I would prefer more seasoning in my breakfast and though they are famous for their thin pancakes, I didn't enjoy it as much. My hollandaise sauce was a bit too much on the sour side, but the hash browns were good. I think their food could be better, but it was decent for a breakfast place. I am really giving the review for the staff and the eclectic atmosphere, it was cool and interesting. With every meal, you get a free rubber duck to take with you and we had fun choosing one each. It's a great place for a casual date, family outing, and decently priced breakfast food. Their menu has a lot of variety and choices. There's plenty of parking outside but it does fill up very quickly inside. Also when we went, it did not seem like their AC was on because it was so packed and hot that day. A good experience, very unique!

I would've rated it a 5 but having multiple groups of people get their food before you when then got seated after you was annoying. The food itself was really good and a good Samaritan paid for our food. So there are still good people in this world.

Absolutely loved this little breakfast spot on reading road in Cincinnati! The service was excellent and the menu is filled with all your favorites! The food was cooked perfectly with large portions. Some items are homemade like their amazing homemade syrup. Remember to get your free little ducky when you leave.

I've wanted to try Sugar 'n Spice for a while now. I'd heard so much about the decor and atmosphere, and the food always seemed to look good. The weather was no good the morning that my boyfriend and I went, which I think helped keep people away because we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, which from the sounds of things, would be considered a shorter wait at this place. We got seats at the counter and our waitress came over pretty fast to get our drink orders. It was maybe 10 minutes or so before she came back to order our food, but I could tell she was busting her butt with other customers, so it was understandable. We placed our orders - I got the philly omelette with chicken and my boyfriend got the breakfast special and some toast. All of the food was amazing. My omelette was HUGE and absolutely stuffed with meat, veggies, and cheese. The whole experience was different and enjoyable as far as the atmosphere, service, and food are concerned. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the bathroom situation. At least on the day that I was there, the women's bathroom didn't have a lock on it, but rather a sign to knock before trying to enter. Uh.... no thanks. I can't comment on the actual bathroom because I chose not to use it.

What an amazing little secret in Cincy! Loved the food, omelets are huge, definitely a kind of place where you: Come in Eat your food Pay the bill Leave Because it is small and poeple are waiting to be seated. Hopping happening little place. You will not be disappointed, and the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because I got the wrong pancake order, but they were good! Be prepared to wait about 15 minutes to be seated because it is always busy there! I love that customers get to take a duck home with them to build a duck collection as large as Sugar n' Spice Diner's collection. I plan to patron twice monthly! Thank you Shawn for great customer service today!
