Ye Olde George Inn

My family and I often visit the George as it’s our local. Today we had our first bottomless brunch, to watch the women’s football final. What can I say, absolutely amazing, the menu choice was extensive and we all choose something of the breakfast menu as it was 11am. The food was beautifully cooked and hot and a good portion. The drinks choice was good, and we definitely got more than our money’s worth. We had a fantastic waitress (Vicky) brilliant service. Can’t recommend this amazing pub enough.

Absolutely brilliant morning watching the women's world final. The drinks were flowing, the food was fantastic and the staff were so attentive to our large family. Vicky was so wonderful and we can't thank her enough. We absolutely love coming to the George and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for atmosphere and good service.

What a great place. The staff were really friendly. We sat down, looked at the menu and there didn't seem to be a kids menu. (Stupidly I didn't ask at the bar) but there were plenty of things our little one would eat. I ordered from the welcoming lady behind the bar who was really nice. Then a guy came over and asked if we'd ordered as they had kids menus inside. (They blow away outside) he was really nice but we told him we were happy with the choice anyway. He then brought out a plate for our little one (as we'd ordered a few sides for her) and then he brought her food first so it had a chance to cool down. That's first rate customer care right there. On top of that, my wife left her phone on the table when we left. They tried chasing us down, but we'd gotten too far, but they kept it safe until we realised and collected it. So it's safe to say the staff are amazing. On top of that, the food was superb. My burger was tasty and juicy as well as the perfect size and the sides we ordered for the little one were so tasty, she polished them off! Something she very rarely does. Top marks, will definitely visit again and can highly recommend!
