This delivery was almost a weekly occurance for myself and wife as we are both disabled and having the benefit of home delivery is a boon. I am amazed at the sheer quantity of food they deliver as well as the quality and importantly it arrives hot. Due to the expert packaging. My meal as well as my wife's barely fitting on our plates, Huge was an understatement. Every item of the meal was perfect. I use a wheelchair for mobility and after eating such a huge amount I expected the wheels might collapse. Luckily they bore the weight. When we arrived there was someone stuck in the toilet and there were 6 people waiting to be seated and no one to show us to our table. My sister walks with 2 sticks and I am a blue badge holder with a heart condition. So you can imagine I was not very happy. I live in Leicestershire and when I visit my sister we always come to you. Surely there should have been a ember of staff to greet us at reception. Many thanks Jan

On arrival we were greeted by a member of staff and shown to our table. We were told there was only beef and gammon on the carvery, but hopefully the pork and turkey shouldn’t be long. We waited for the carvery to have the four meats, and suddenly there was a big queue. When at the carvery I chose beef and pork! The pork was from a new joint, but the beef was the last morsels of an earlier joint. I was given a very small portion, and asked for a little more, which was given almost reluctantly. Other than that the food was good as always, the service was quick and the waitress was very pleasant. We will certainly return as the small situation with the meat was a first and not enough to put me off.

We visited on a busy Sunday lunchtime 1pm. It wasn't planned so we didn't have a booking. As I said it was busy but we were allowed to take a table in the bar area and place our order at the bar. We both went for the Carvery, regular size. It was delicious 😋 I had lamb and turkey, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, amazing beef fat roast potatoes and 5 different veg. All piping hot. At the carving station a different knife was used for each of the 5 meats. The food was served on warm plates and the queue time was reasonable. I would definitely recommend and go again myself 10/10 👍
