Dairy Queen

I live right down the street and have been coming to this location for years. At this point it's hit or miss on food quality. When it's good it's really good and anything less isn't worth it because you will wait no less than 40 minutes. I'm actually typing this from my freezing car in their parking lot going on my 50 minute wait mark. good thing my heat doesn't work otherwise all the ice cream I got right away would be melted. So I'm not coming back here.....update they made me wait extra time so they could bring out more orders at once so my food is cold but yeah 50 minute wait time.

To eat dinner for our family of three, it took almost an hour and a half. The staff was talking amongst themselves, tucked away on the edges of the service counter, while dine-in customers (like ourselves) stood and waited around to be served. Food took about 25 minutes to be brought out. We were the only people sitting inside, save for a couple that came in shortly after us. A Drive-thru parked order came back into the store themselves to get their orders, visibly upset with the wait and the staff not bringing their order out. As they departed, the cook made remarks in a mocking tone as soon as he was out of earshot. Waited at the counter for almost five minutes to get ketchup for our meal. Was given two ketchups for the three of us. Ordered three small ice cream desserts. Took almost ten minutes to make. Informed the machine "wouldn't twist" the ice cream. Had to reorder our child's twist cone. Overall, it just seems like the staff here are putting in a "D-" effort. Hardly any customers, yet 5-6 people can't keep up. Poor service, poor attitude, and dry, overcooked burgers. We will not be back.

The service at this location has been going down for quite some time. If you get food and a blizzard, they'll give you your ice cream first and then have you wait 20-30 mutes for your food while your ice cream becomes soup. The gravy is no longer what it used to be. It's now the consistency of water with flour chunks and pepper in it. Most of the time you see people leaving the drive-thru line because each person takes an average of 30 minutes to get through the line. At that point going to a regular restaurant you'd have better quality food and be near done with your dinner by the time the drive-thru will get you your food at dairy queen.

Absolute garbage service, every time I've been there and given them a change it's take 20+ minutes to get my food or even reach the order box. Last time I went they serviced people who arrived after me and walked in, mind you I was waiting in the drive thru line for 25+ mins at this point. Called to ask them to pull cars so people who've been waiting a long time could order. Was told to get a job with them and rudely hung up on. Don't waste your time, legit will cost money waiting.

I’ve used Apply Pay here before and when I stopped today the woman working refused to let me use this method of payment because she “didn’t think they had Apple Pay.” I explained that they definitely do but she insisted they didn’t. It’s so hot out and I’m pregnant and I just wanted to cool down and instead I’m leaving almost in tears and feeling bullied by a grown woman.
